General Announcements
Are you a natural leader? Are you looking to be a part of a fantastic team, or even just meet new people? Then Student Council is the place for you. It’s a great way to get involved in all of the major happenings of Arapahoe and have a lot of fun at the same time. For those who want to have a voice and make a lasting impact on our school, we meet every Tuesday morning at 6:20 in the forum- breakfast is included!
All those interested in joining the Drama Club - there will be a meeting for Freshmen and new students to Arapahoe on Wednesday, August 23rd at 2:30 in the Theatre. Then on Thursday the 24th will be the first Drama Club meeting of the year for everyone. If you'd like to be involved onstage or backstage this year, please come to this meeting. For more information, see Mr. Ahern in room E1358.
Students, if you are not going to be using your locker, please come to see Mrs. Arnold in the bookkeeping office.
The AHS Back-to-School Dance is Friday, Aug 25, 8-10 pm, in the Auxiliary Gymnasium.  Cost is $5/person and tickets will be sold at the door.  This dance is for AHS students only, and you will be required to have your student ID with you.  The LPS Dance Policy will be enforced for all dances.
Seniors!  The Post Grad Center is hosting Arapahoe High School”s first ever College Application Boot Camp beginning Wednesday, August 23rd during PLC time.  Rise and shine early and come to the Forum at 7AM sharp to attend Session 1 titled, “Ready...Set...Go!”  Bring your laptop and get ready to start those initial tasks AND learn about new procedures being implemented this year.
Lost or misplaced your student ID​? Please come the attendance office to see if it has been turned in.
All Juniors and Seniors - if you have already purchased a parking permit but haven't picked it up yet, you must do so by this Wednesday, August 23rd. No one will be allowed to park in the student lot without a parking permit beginning Thursday, August 24th. Please pick up your parking permit from the campus supervisor at the west kiosk.

The Technology Student Association or "TSA" is for students who want to take their interest in Technology & Engineering one step further, have fun, meet new people, and perhaps get the chance to travel along the way.  The 1st "Informational" meeting will be next Wed, Aug 23 after school from 2:25-3:00in Room 1284.
