General Announcements
Attention all current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors: you will receive a copy of your schedule for next year on Friday, May 18, after school in the cafeteria from 2:30-3:00. This will be the only time to see your schedule before next year.
Seniors today is your last day to CLEAN OUT YOUR Lockers. Please remove all personal items by the end of school today.
Hey Students and Staff! Arapahoe is having a school supply drive! As you clean out your backpacks and lockers, be sure to look for boxes or black trash bags in the hallways for you to recycle gently used or new supplies to be donated to people and students in need. Be sure to look for the flyers posted in the hallways to drop off pencils/pens, notebooks, binders, and more. We are accepting donations now through next Wednesday, May 23rd. Your donations are truly appreciated!
Students, please refrain from "visiting" Powell and Newton Middle Schools during their school hours. You are only allowed to be on their campus if you have communicated with the teacher you are planning to "visit" ahead of time, and scheduled a visit with them after school hours. If you are discovered on campus or in the school without prior permission, you will be asked to leave. If you continue to come on campus after being asked to leave, you may be ticketed. Thank you for your cooperation.
Students, please be aware that the school dress code is still in effect in these last two weeks of school despite the warmer weather. Students wearing spaghetti straps, tube tops, or tops that do not cover the stomach will be asked to wear alternative clothing.
Athletics
The Boys Lacrosse season concluded last night in the semifinals with a 12-10 loss to Kent Denver. The coaches and players would like to thank the staff and student body for all of their amazing support provided throughout this year.
Hey Warriors ~ we wish our baseball team the best of luck as they will be playing in the State Tournament on Friday at All-City Stadium. Game time is 9:00 am. Follow Twitter throughout the day on Friday as more games will follow later that day and on Saturday as well.
Congratulations AHS boys swim and dive state qualifiers, (see the TV monitos around the building our state swim and divers!!!) Best of luck at the meet this Friday and Saturday which will be held at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton!!
