*Virtual Blood Drive: As we celebrate Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness from December 4, 2020 until January 3, 2021, Arapahoe High School, Vitalant and the Denver Broncos are teaming up to encourage blood donations at our virtual blood drive. Did you know that...

  • Blood is needed every two seconds.

  • About one in seven people entering a hospital needs blood.

  • Blood cannot be manufactured.

  • One pint of donated blood can save up to 3 lives

Anyone over the age of 16 ( with parent consent form ) can donate to the blood drive. To join the virtual blood drive you must first register at https://tinyurl.com/ArapBloodDrive. After registering, you will be able to schedule your appointment at the location, day and time that works best for you. Vitalant has a safe, socially distanced facility located minutes from AHS in Highlands Ranch.

The Virtual Blood Drive will continue until January 3, 2021. Please utilize your off hours, free time after school, weekends, and winter break to schedule an appointment to give blood and to save a life in our community. Whole blood donation appointments appear to be filling quickly, so sign up soon. If you have any questions, please email Ryan Miwa, Assistant Principal, at rmiwa@lps.k12.co.us. As an extra incentive, the high school that has the most people donate blood at a Vitalant Blood Center will win a $2000 donation from the Broncos! Arapahoe High School Sources of Strength thanks you for joining us to spread Kindness, Love and Hope.
