The first three weeks in January are all different due to holidays and teacher planning days so please refer to the course and bell schedules for each week in January in this link. It also contains the AHS Distance Learning Plan for students and parents.
Friday, January 22, 2021 – Non-student day for high school students. This is a planning day for the teachers to return to the hybrid learning model.
Monday, January 25, 2021 – High school students return to school in the hybrid model of in-person learning. We will follow the same hybrid group A and group B cohorts, as well as the same bell schedule we followed in the fall.
Athletics
*Subscribe to AHS Athletic Event Live-Streaming: The Colorado High School Activities Association has secured variances from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment so that our traditional winter sports can compete in abbreviated seasons. Those variances do not include much opportunity for spectators at any of our events. In an attempt to live-stream as many games, matches, and meets as possible we are trying to utilize a YouTube channel. *Attention! All girls interested in playing high school volleyball this Spring who have not signed up yet and are not connected via our WhatsApp communication app please contact head coach Larry Deffenbaugh at ldeffenbaugh@lps.k12.co.us. Check the AHS Volleyball website for the most current information concerning the upcoming season beginning March 1st.
