*Come cheer on your Girls Basketball teams TONIGHT as they take on Fossil Ridge at Fossil Ridge.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm, after JV @ 5:00pm.  C-level will play at 5:00pm.

*Come out and support the Boys Basketball teams TONIGHT as they take on Heritage at HOME.  Varsity plays @ 7:00pm.  JV plays at 5:30pm, Sophomore plays @ 4:00 and Freshman plays 5:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at GoFan.co.

*Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Basketball team. They defeated the Columbine Rebels 58-32 last night in our home opener.  Be sure to come out TOMORROW night at 7:00pm as they take on Heritage in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium.  Athletic passes do work for this home game! If you don't have one, you will want to buy them ahead of time through your Infinite Campus account.  To purchase tickets, go to GoFan.co.  Go Warriors!

*Tonights wrestling match against Rock Canyon has been canceled.  It will be rescheduled for after Winter Break.

*Warriors - YOUR lunch period TODAY will be based on your 2nd period class.  If your 2nd period class is LSS classes, Math, Performing Arts, PE, Science or World Language you have 1st lunch from 11:40-12:16.  All other 2nd period classes have 2nd lunch from 12:30-1:06.

*Announcements for the rest of the week will NOT be read over the PA.  Please check the website for Daily Announcements.

*Congratulations to the Arapahoe Girls Swim and Dive teams for their amazing performances at the Coaches' Invite this weekend! Among many best times and great dive scores, the teams came away with multiple finalists and state qualifiers. 

*Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Basketball team for two big wins in the Cherry Creek Holiday Classic. Your Warriors defeated Fairview 73-43 and also beat Grandview 42-38! Come on out and support our boys as they take on Columbine TOMORROW in our home opener at 7:00pm and our rival Heritage on Thursday also at 7:00pm. Let’s go Warriors!!

*Seniors! The counseling department has submitted all initial transcripts and letters of rec that have been requested! If any of your schools are missing documents, please see Ms. Conn or your counselor ASAP! If you have any outstanding transcript request forms for January deadlines, please submit those TODAY! Lastly, please check your email for important communication from Postgrad.

*Warriors - The latest edition of The Herald magazine is available, so get your copy in the library and in the cafeteria news-stands.

*Seniors! The Counseling department has submitted all initial transcripts and letters of recommendation that have been requested.  If any of your schools are missing documents, please see Ms. Conn or your counselor ASAP! If you have any outstanding transcript request forms for January deadlines, please submit those by noon TOMORROW. Lastly, please check your email for important communication from Postgrad.

*FBLA members - Don’t forget our Annual Gingerbread Competition TODAY after school in the Cafeteria.  Judging will be on the ‘Most Beautiful’ and ‘Strongest’.

So, next Monday, December 18th, before finals begin, come to the cafeteria during both lunches to enjoy the de-stress event put on by your mental health team. There will be hot cocoa, calming strategies, therapy dogs, and more! See you there!

*Warriors there will be a FREE ‘Alive @ 25’ class Thursday, December 14th at  3:45pm - 8:15 pm in room W1874.  If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 ½,  you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount.  This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us.  To register for the class the password is "arapahoe".  Any questions ask Deputy Englert.

*Don't forget to wear your PURPLE shirt tomorrow for ‘Wear Purple Day’.  If you haven't received your free purple shirt, it's not too late.  Stop by the cafeteria at lunch and pick one up.  

*Join us TONIGHT for the Arapahoe Warriors Vocal Music Winter concert in the theater at 7:00pm.  Come hear some fabulous Warrior voices.

*Our AHS Thespians did amazingly at our State Competition last weekend! We brought 36 students and performed 38 different pieces at the conference this year, the most Arapahoe has ever taken. 6 of our students qualified for the National Conference. Jackson Beeman and Lexie Stinson in their duet acting event. Grace Gapter in her contrasting monologues event. And Talia Sturtz, Eleanor Reed, and Kate Jonnard in their solo musical event. There were 5,000 students at the conference this year. Kate Jonnard was among the top 35 of the conference selected for a Mainstage performance callback for her solo musical event. Congratulations to all of our Thespians!
