*Join us for Club Cafe Round 2, TOMORROW, January 30th in the Cafeteria during both lunches. Join a club for 2nd semester, make new friends, pursue new interests. Come see all the clubs AHS has to offer. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Kuhlmann or Mrs. Peterson in the Activities office.
*Warriors - do you want to travel to Japan or Rwanda with other Warriors! You might ride the bullet train to Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic Japanese Ramen or spot giraffes, lions and elephants right outside your jeep on a wildlife safari in Rwanda. An informational travel meeting will be held by Ms. Wood on Tuesday, February 6th at 6:00pm in room E1287. Please enter through the main east entrance. You must bring a parent and RSVP for the meeting. Find the link to RSVP for the meeting and all the other details on the AHS webpage. Don’t miss out on these once in a lifetime trips.
*Warriors - you’re invited to take part in the LPS Hour of Code on the EPIC Campus TONIGHT from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The Hour of Code event is an opportunity for exploration and discovery with computer science and will offer age-appropriate activities for students from kindergarten through high school. The EPIC Campus has partnered with generous local companies who have provided great prizes to give away at the end of the event. We hope to see you there!
Athletics
*Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Basketball team for their back-to-back Centennial league wins. The boys defeated Smoky Hill on Thursday 62-58 and Cherokee Trail on Saturday 55-49. Come support them in competition this week as they head to Eaglecrest on Wednesday and take on Mullen on Friday at 7:00pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Come help us celebrate our Fabulous Seniors for Senior Night! Go, Warriors!
*Anyone interested in playing Girls Golf this Spring needs to attend the Parent/Player Meeting on Monday, February 5th at 6:00pm in the Forum. We will discuss important details about the upcoming season and how tryouts will work. Please tell your parents or guardian to attend. See Mr. Riordan in the World Language Office if you have any questions.
