General Announcements

*Warriors - BOO!  It’s officially Halloweek! Join us for a free Halloween movie night tomorrow, Tuesday October 29 in the Aux gym! Doors open at 6:30! Don’t forget money for yummy treats and your blankets and pillows! See you there! Tomorrow’s Dress up Day is Witch Out, so wear your Black!

*Also - StuCo will be hosting a Halloween costume contest during both lunches in the cafeteria on Thursday, October 31. Be sure to wear your best costume for your chance to win a gift card! 

*Warriors - the next Swim Waiver test options will take place on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, the 15th during Tribe.  You must sign up to reserve a spot.  The sign up for the Swim Waiver test will be available on the AHS website on Friday, November 1st.  Each test day will be limited to 20 students. See Mrs. Abner if you have any questions.

*Butter Braids for Band - Support the AHS instrumental music programs and enjoy some delicious butter braids.  Order by November 1st, pick and up will be November 9th, from 10:00am-1:00pm, at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.  Order online at this link - arapahoebandboosters.com/2024-butter-braids/

*Warriors - do you know someone that needs important paper shredded? Want to protect yourself from identity theft? Come to FBLA's Annual Shred-A-Thon on Saturday, November 2, from 9:00am-12 noon! Please provide a donation for shredding services.  FBLA members who want to earn lettering points, sign up for a shift and help us out!

*The Latino Student Alliance and National Spanish Honor Society invite you to our Día de los Muertos celebration on November 1st at 4:30pm in the Library.   Bring a photo of a loved one or write their name on a monarch butterfly to honor their memory. Join us for a vibrant celebration of life, love, and remembrance. See you there!

*Come cheer on your Girls Field Hockey team TONIGHT in the first round of State playoffs against Dakota Ridge at Littleton Stadium at 6:00pm.
