*Hey Junior Warrior Women! Are you ready to step into your senior year with a greater connection to your community? Learn about exciting opportunities for next year, share your ideas, and connect with other future WWW classmates during our first Wild Warrior Women meeting of the class of 2026, next Friday, May 9th at 7:40am in the Forum. We can’t wait to see you there!
*Juniors and Seniors - Prom tickets will be on sale TODAY during both lunches in the cafeteria. $40 per person - cash or check or $50 at the door.
*Also, Juniors and Seniors - AfterProm is this Saturday - buy your tickets TODAY at lunch for $30 or $40 at the door. There are over $5,000 worth of prizes being given out at the end of the night! You do not have to go to Prom to come to AfterProm. Open to Juniors, Seniors and their guests.
*Over the past school year, your AHS Daily Announcements have been brought to you by some very dedicated students. Thank you to Ainsley, Matteo, Diana and recently Liam, Maren, Mac, Lucy, Sophia, Keri and Millie! If you see them, give them a big THANK YOU!
*Calling all students! Would you like to be an AHS Daily Announcer for the 2025-26 school year? We need a few students who would like to commit to 1 day a week for the year or even just a semester, giving AHS news to our students and staff through our daily announcements. Come to the Front Desk and sign up for a time to try-out! Let your voice shine through our Daily Announcements.
*Warriors - Join us for a night of music at our Summer Vocal Music Festival on Wednesday, May 7th. Festivities begin at 5:30pm and include an ice cream bar, beachy refreshments, games and face painting. Our concert begins at 7:00pm.
*Seniors! Please complete the Senior Exit Survey as soon as you know your plan for next year. Submissions received by TODAY will be included in ‘The Herald’, and those received by May 10th will be included in the Awards Convocation ceremony. You must complete the survey before picking up your cap & gown for graduation. See your counselor for questions.
Athletics
*It’s the last game of the regular season TONIGHT and we have one of our biggest rival games saved for last. Come cheer on your Varsity Lacrosse Boys toward their final win of the regular season as they take on Mountain Vista! Varsity face off @ 7:00pm at Halftime Help Stadium. We need you all there!! The JV team will play at 4:30pm at Mountain Vista.
*Warriors - are you ready for some exciting competition. Come out and get loud for your #1 ranked LPS Boys Volleyball team at Regionals TONIGHT! Matches will be at Heritage at 5:00pm and 8:00pm.
*Good luck to our Warrior Boy Swimmers competing this weekend at the Centennial A League Championships at Cherry Creek High School. Prelimins are TODAY and Finals are on Saturday. The boys are in a great position to improve on last year's 6th place finish! Swim fast, have fun, and swim with AHS pride!
*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Lacrosse team as they take on Eaglecrest TONIGHT at 7:00pm at Centennial Stadium. Please join us after the JV game to celebrate our FABULOUS SENIORS! JV will play at 4:30pm.

*Good luck to our Boys Varsity Baseball team TOMORROW as they take on Cherry Creek at Cherry Creek at 11:00am. JV and Freshman also play at Cherry Creek. Sophomore team plays at HOME at 2:00pm.
*Good luck to our Varsity Track and Field team TOMORROW at the Fritz Fulton Memorial Invite at Cherry Creek High School.
