*Good luck to the following AHS mountain bike team riders as they head to the State Championship race this Saturday, in Glenwood Springs: Dean Jones, Grayson O’Kane, Cooper McDonagh, Matt Reynolds, Tareq Frasier, Grant McDowell, Dillon Jones and Matthew Reynolds. Good luck and have fun!
*Warriors - have you been a little cold or thirsty lately? Please check out the Lost & Found table in the Cafeteria. We have quite the collection of hoodies, waterbottles, lunch bags & more!
*Seniors, please make sure to see Mrs. Sorensen in Student Services to record your height for your cap and gown and check your name for your diploma. These are due by October 17th.
*Come join the Warriors on the Fly Club TODAY after school in room N1475. Come discuss, learn, and participate in all things fly fishing.
*Come unify with Unified for our last fall game of the season. Unified will be playing wiffleball on TODAY on the AHS baseball field at 4:00pm. Everyone is invited and we especially need Warriors to join the team. See you there!
Athletics
*Congratulations to the Girls Softball team for being a Regional Qualifier for the 5A State Championships for the 5th year in a row. The Warriors will be taking on 10th ranked Pine Creek in Grand Junction on Saturday. Go Warriors!
*Come cheer on your Warrior Boys Football team on Friday as they take on Smoky Hill @ 7:00pm at the Stutler Bowl!
*Good Luck to our 8 Boys Tennis players at the CHSAA 5A State Championships TOMORROW through Saturday at Denver Tennis Park.
*Warriors, did you know we have a LPS Girls Gymnastics team? That's right, your fellow Warriors are part of the combined LPS Gymnastics program, along with members from Heritage and Littleton high schools. We need your Support for the Gymnastics Team Fundraiser! We’re excited to offer a chance to win two tickets to one of two amazing games: Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars on December 21st OR Colorado Avalanche vs. Anaheim Ducks on November 11th. Entries are just $20 each for a chance to win tickets to your choice of game. All proceeds go directly to supporting our gymnastics team.
