 General Announcements

*Over the past school year, your AHS Daily Announcements have been brought to you by some AMAZING students.  Thank you to our TREMENDOUS Thursday announcers Lynae and Ella.  If you see them, give them a big THANK YOU!

*Seniors - make sure to turn in all checked out library items including chromebooks to the library by TODAY.  You will not be able to get your cap and gown if everything is not returned or fines paid.

*SENIORS! Please remember to grab your SENIOR COLLAGE from After Prom from the Bubble entrance BEFORE FRIDAY! 

*Arapahoe Artists!  If you had a piece in this year's Art Attack Show, be sure to stop by the Art Department by Friday, May 17th to pick up your artwork.

Athletics

*Congrats to the Boys Lacrosse team on their VICTORY over Denver South in a hard-fought rainy game last night.  The Warriors will play again on Saturday, May 18th.  Stay turned for game details!

*The AHS Toms program will be holding open practice TODAY from 4:15pm - 6:15pm followed by an Interest Meeting in the Forum starting at 6:30pm.  Open practices will also be on May 21st & 23rd from 4:30pm-6:30pm.  2nd Chance Tryouts will be on May 28th & 29th.  If you have any questions contact Head Coach Madeline Kelley at ahstoms@gmail.com. 

*Did you miss cheerleading tryouts and are still interested in joining the team? You're in luck! We are hosting another round of tryouts on May 28th and 29th from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the AHS wrestling gym. Please visit our instagram (arapahoe_cheerleading) or our website to fill out our interest form!  If you have any questions contact Head Coach Madison Berry at mberry@lps.k12.co.us.

*Warriors - if you would like to be an AHS Daily Announcer for the 2024-25 school year stop by the front office and sign up.  We need a few students to commit to 1 day a week for the year or even just a semester.  It only takes about 10 minutes to give the announcements. If you have any questions ask Mrs. Schell at the front desk.

*Warriors - now’s you chance to be an AHS Daily Announcer for the 2024-25 school year.  We need a few students who would like to commit to 1 day a week for the year or even just a semester.  We only need you for about 10 minutes each time.  Come to the Front Desk and sign up to try-out!  Let your voice shine through our Daily Announcements.

*Congratulations to the LPS Boys Volleyball team as they took home 3rd at the first Boys Volleyball State Championship.  

*Congratulations to the following athletes for making it to the 5A State Track and Field Championships.  Tatem Gobble, Caleb Jolliff, and Antonio Wadsworth will be representing your Arapahoe Warriors starting Thursday.  If you see them in class or in the halls, please congratulate them.

 General Announcements

*Warriors - your combined Arapahoe/Littleton Ultimate Frisbee team has had an amazing season and is undefeated going to State this weekend!   Wish them luck!!

*Seniors! If you have not yet completed the Senior Exit Survey, please get it done now, even if you're not sure of your post grad plan! It must be completed TODAY if you have scholarships to report.  All surveys must be submitted by next Friday, May 17th before you can pick up your cap & gown after ‘Fun in the Sun’. 

*Warriors! Join LSA (Latino Student Alliance) TODAY from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the cafeteria as we all come together to celebrate the cultural diversity that makes up Arapahoe High School? More than 15 different cultures will be represented throughout food and music! This event is free and we hope to see you there!

*Senior Warriors - be sure to have all checked out library items including chromebooks returned by Thursday, May 16th. You will not be able to get your cap and gown if everything is not returned or fines paid.

*Attention National Honor Society Members:  your second-semester service logs are due by Monday, May 13th.  Remember to take a picture of your sheets before you give a sponsor your hard copy.
