General Announcements

It’s almost here. The week you’ve all been waiting for – no, not winter break – FINAL EXAMS! Finals run from December 15 through December 20 with 3 exams each day. The kitchen will be open until 11:30 each day. Lunch will not be served. All buses will run on a regular schedule. Check with your teachers and on flyers around the school for specific testing times.

Attention you FBLA-ERS!!! Don't forget we are wrapping the "Adopt-A-Family" gifts today in S1. Please come because we need your help. After, we are going to go help wrap toys for Toys for Tots. See you in S1 today!

Attention Wild Warrior Women. We are taking pictures for the yearbook today, in the outdoor class room. Be there right after school in your green jumpsuit.

Do you like quiz bowls? Do you like science? Are you not afraid to show off your knowledge for a chance to win a trip to Washington D.C.? If so, please see Ms. Durow in the science office and sign up for the 2007 Science Bowl!! This year it will be held at Dakota Ridge High School on Saturday February 3rd.

Attention all old NHS members! Just a reminder, all service logs are due at the meeting in the forum by 2:15, Wednesday, December 13th. That is next week! Please have your signatures for your 10 service hours and plan on attending the brief meeting.

Congratulations to our talented mathematicians! The following students are invited to take the Final Round of the UNC Mathematics Competition on the Greeley Campus on Saturday, February 3rd. Please recognize: Lane Childers, Laine Greaves-Smith, Tom Roberts, Ryan Beckett, Spencer Zepelin, Sean Egan, Corey McClymonds and Emil Marinov.

Congratulations to our National Assessment and Testing Team! The following students participated in the Ciphering Time Trials Math Competition on December 7th: Corey McClymonds, Lily Nguyen, Johnny Dickinson, Zack Rubenstein, Maria Krump and Sean Egan.

Attention all FCCLA-ers…. Please remember to bring in your food items for our adopt-a-family meal. We are still missing many items and we have set up deliver for Tuesday (tomorrow). If you don’t remember what you are bringing please see Mrs. Rains today. Thanks FCCLA!

HO! HO! HO! We have collected 1200 toys and we are still counting. This is so exciting and it will make so many children happy. We are still accepting toys in the Attendance Office. Thank you for all you do in caring for others. The wrapping party is today after school in the cafeteria. Come help wrap the toys for Ashley Elementary.

Athletics

The Warrior’s Fresh/Soph Wrestling team did well placing 2nd out of 15 teams at the Chatfield tournament on Saturday. 9 out of 19 guys placed: Casey Holmes, Jake Fields, and Richie Childs took 2nd; Tyler Wharry, Phil Hickock, Patrick Brovsky, Adam Hickle, and Paris Spinelli took 3rd, and Phil Krell took 4th. Good job and good luck this week!

Boy’s basketball will kick off their home season Tuesday night as they take on Smoky Hill. The freshman and sophomore boys teams will play at 4:00, JV at 5:30 and the Varsity will tip off at 7:00 pm. Go Warriors!
