General Announcements

Ho! Ho! Ho! You did it! The toy box in the Attendance Office was overflowing again this morning. We are at 1020 toys and still counting! We are still collecting toys in the Attendance Office and every toy will go to a child less fortunate. The wrapping party will be on Monday, after school in the cafeteria. Everyone is welcome. Thank you for all you do, Warriors!

Attention Academic Peer Coaches! Please see Mr. Low in the Study Center to sign up for next semester’s peer coaching hour.

Freshman, Wednesday, December 12 from 2:30 to 4:00, LINK Crew will be holding Cramfest in the cafeteria for all of you. Come to Cramfest to study with friends, get help from teachers and LINK leaders regarding your studies, eat cookies, drink pop, and find out what finals are really like. Cramfest is a great way to build strong study methods by getting help from your upperclassmen LINK Leaders who have been doing this for years. So next Wednesday, bring your books and your brain and come prepared to study!

The Sophomore class will be going to Twain Elementary on Wednesday the 12th to decorate cookies and read holiday books to the kindergarten classes. Permission slips are on Mrs. Crookham’s desk. Slips are due back by Wednesday morning.

AHS is participating in Speak Up 2007, a chance to have your voice heard on issues related to technology and schools. Please follow the link on the AHS Start Page or the AHS Home Page to take the survey. Deadline is December 21st.

Overdue books & library fees $5.00 and over will now be posted in Infinite Campus.

Take time to occasionally log into your Infinite Campus portal, choose the Fee tab and check your records.

Attention Model UN Boulder Delegates: please don’t forget to stop by Ms. DiSepio’s office for driver permission forms!

Athletics

There is an Arapahoe Invitational meet at Arapahoe for the Swim and Dive team on Saturday with diving starting at 8:30 and swimming starting at noon. There is a meet against Castle Rock tonight for JV divers and the entire swim team.

Our Arapahoe High School basketball team is playing their first home game against Dakota Ridge this Saturday at 7 p.m. We appreciate all our fans who come out and support the team and, therefore, are giving a Cookie Bouquet to one lucky winner at each home game. More surprises at the game.
