General Announcements
Yearbooks will be available Tuesday and Wednesday in room E8 before school (6:45-7:10 a.m.), during lunches, during 6th hour, and after school until 3 p.m. We will have fewer yearbook helpers on Tuesday and Wednesday, so waits may be longer. Yearbooks MUST BE PICKED UP by Thursday, May 14 -- in order to get books cleared before the week of final exams.
Attention National Honor Society members: Be sure to attend our last meeting of the year Wednesday, May 13 at 2:20 p.m. in room E-9. You will turn in your service logs and meet next year’s officers.
Seniors: If you did not pick up your tickets for graduation you can pick them up in the Guidance Office.
If you ordered pictures from Prom, they are available in the Main Office.
Athletics
Congratulations to the winning teams in the Girls Golf/Teacher scramble yesterday. There was a tie, so our winners were the teams of Julia Goldsmith, Katy Dyachkova, Katie Abner, Claudia Davis and Reid Howey, Jared Robinson, Rachel Larson and Dr. Esther Song. Our AHS athletic director, Steve Sisler, won the long drive and closest to the pin contests!
The Girls Soccer team advanced to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs and will play Pine Creek today at 7:00 pm at LPSS.
Hey students and staff. Looking for something to do this afternoon on this beautiful day? Come and cheer on the Lady Lacrosse Warriors in their quarter-final game this afternoon against Kent at 4:30 p.m. at Kent! GO Warriors!!
Attention all girls interested in playing softball in the fall. There will be a short but important meeting Thursday, May 14th at 2:20 in room N-5. If you cannot attend, please see coach Fazio.
Attention Golfers! All boys interested in trying out for the Boys’ Golf team in August should attend a brief meeting on Wednesday, May 13, at 2:30 in room S8. If you cannot attend, contact Coach Anderson or give your name to Mrs. Weems in the Athletic Office.
Attention Cross Country runners: There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, May 14 during either 1st or 2nd lunch in the outdoor classroom for all summer running club participants, as well as prospective fall runners.
