General Announcements

HO! HO! HO! Thank you Warriors! We have met our goal and have over 1000 toys. This is so exciting and it will make so many children happy. Thank you for all you do in caring for others.

The Wrapping Party is TODAY right after school in the cafeteria. Come help wrap toys for Fairview Elementary.

Congratulations to the Varsity Cheers! They performed an outstanding routine in the prelims and out of 43 teams, earned one of only 6 slots in the finals Friday evening at the State Spirit Competion. In the finals the Warriors did a nearly flawless routine to capture the title of 2009 Colorado State Champions in the 5A Cheer Division!! Way to go Cheers!!

Attention all students – You will receive your 2nd Semester Schedules in your 3rd hour class today. Please see Mrs. Clark in the Guidance Center if you do not have a 3rd hour class today. Schedule adjustments can be made for academic misplacement only from December 8th – 11th in the Guidance Center. Remember, changes will be made for academic misplacement ONLY!

Congratulations to Andrew Ryan who has been selected to perform in the 2010 Colorado All State Symphony Orchestra.

Congratulations to Tom Roberts for earning a perfect score on the first round of the University of Colorado Math Competition! Out of 1541 participants, only 13 students in the state of Colorado earned a perfect score.

Congratulations to our talented mathematicians who earned a high score on the first round of the University of Colorado Math Competition. They are invited to participate in the Final Round on the Greeley Campus in January. Please recognize: Logan Brock, Elijah Kuhn, Max Eshleman, Quan Mao, Alexis Fons, Matthew Friedrich, Jasmine Griffin, Dennis Kutateladze, Tom Roberts and Christopher Spaulding.

Reminder to new National Honor Society inductees… Tonight is our induction ceremony, but you also need to attend our mandatory rehearsal at 2:30 in the theater.

Tomorrow during first lunch is the Bronco Assembly. Miles, players and cheerleaders will be here to help us celebrate winning the canned food drive.

Have you taken Business Technology 1 yet? If not, this announcement is VERY IMPORTANT for you! The business department is offering the BT1 Proficiency Exam on December 8th from 2:30-4:00 in room S3. If you pass this exam you can enroll directly in Advanced Business Technology 2 for your graduation requirement. Stop by the Business Dept. if you have any questions.

Don’t miss the Choir and Orchestra Holiday Concert on Wednesday night. It’s at 7:00 in the theater and features the Orchestra, Women’s and Men’s Choirs, Concert Choir Choralettes and Arapahoe Singers.

Attention all DECA competitors! There will be a mandatory District meeting this Thursday right after school in room S1.

Hey Arapahoe! Don’t forget that this Thursday is our Fall deadline to submit stories, art, and poems to the Muse! Just go to the Activities page, then Muse, and scroll down for directions on how to submit. It’s easy, and there’s nothing to lose. Let’s see your creative work, Arapahoe!

Hey TSA, due to an afternoon meeting next Monday, our TSA Holiday Pizza party has been moved to next Tuesday, after Finals at 12:15 in E10. You may bring your State TSA Conference registration packet and payment to this meeting as the deadline will be extended until then. If you haven’t received your State Conference packet, please see Mr. McMullen. Hope to see everyone there!!

Athletics

The Girls’ Freshman Basketball team plays Heritage tonight at Heritage at 7:00 p.m. Come cheer on the Freshman girls tonight as they take on our cross-town rivals!
