General Announcements
Students – Your password to log in to the Infinite Campus Portal will be changing on Wednesday, August 18th at 2 pm. You will still use your student id as your user name but your password will be changing to the first initial of your first name, then the first initial of your last name, both lower case, then your six digit birth date. For example, if your name was John Smith and your birth date was March 1, 1996, then your new password would be js030196. Again, this change will take place at 2 pm on Wednesday. Attention all students: Please remember to turn in your emergency card and the AHS Permission Form if you did not have it at schedule pick up. Both forms must be signed by a parent or guardian. The Permission Form is very important for Internet Usage and Field Trips as well as other details. The Emergency Card is just that – extremely important if there is an emergency situation, it needs to be legible and completed in detail. Please bring them to the Attendance Office. You can also pick up blank forms to take home if you need them.
Hey warriors – officer applications are now being accepted for FCCLA – Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Applications are due back to Mrs. Rains by August 27th. See Mrs. Rains in E2/E3 for more information. Come join us for the Ultimate Leadership Experience this year!

Join your LINK leaders on Thursday, August 18th for a Brown Bag Lunch Day. Bring your lunch and your friends for a picnic on the lawn at both lunches outside the South entrance of the cafeteria.

"Attention Freshmen leaders - are you interested in helping to plan Homecoming, Toys for Tots, Warrior Week and many other activities and events? Do you want to make new friends while working behind-the-scenes with other student leaders? Then consider becoming a Freshmen Student Council Officer. There is an intent-to-run meeting for all freshmen interested in Student Council Thursday morning at 6:45am in room E9 OR you can come Thursday afternoon at 2:30pm in room E9. If you have further questions, please see Mrs. Lee in Language Arts or Mr. Brandberg in World Languages for more information."
All AHS students now have an LPS Google Apps account. This gives you an LPS-branded gmail account, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google Groups, Google Moderator and Aviary. You can find out your Google Apps login and password through the Infinite Campus Portal. Login, click on the new technology tab on the left side, and you’ll see your Google Apps login and password. We’re asking students to use this as their primary email address for all school-related work at AHS. For more details, please see the AHS web site.
Athletics
Attention all Girls planning to play Basketball this winter. There will be an informational meeting at 5:30 P.M. this Tuesday evening in room C-3, the meeting will be brief and will be followed by our first “open gym”, which is scheduled to end at 8:00.
