General Announcements

Attention all Seniors……….Senior Spirit Jerseys will be on sale during both lunches Today!

It’s time to pull out the crowns again! Nominations for this year’s Homecoming royalty will be held every period in the cafeteria this coming Tuesday, August 31st. Come nominate your classmates to walk down the aisle at the Royalty Assembly on the Tuesday of Homecoming Week!
Attention FCCLA’ers: All officer applications are due to Mrs. Rains by the end of the day today! Don’t miss out on this awesome leadership opportunity. Get your applications in by 3:00 p.m. See Mrs. Rains for any questions or concerns.

Hey Freshmen,
Here is your chance to get involved! We will be having a class meeting on Monday, August 30 at 2:25 in room S-8. Let’s get excited for Homecoming!! If you can’t make it, see Kruck or Crookham in the math office for details.

Hey seniors! Want to help make your final homecoming parade the best ever? Come help out this Saturday at Jordan Hall’s house to create an incredible final float, refreshments provided. Contact your senior class officers for more information. Go seniors!

Hey Junior Warriors! This Saturday August 28 we will have a float decorating party at Molly O’Donnell’s house at 12pm. Food and drink will be provided. Let’s make this year’s homecoming float the best yet. If you need directions please contact your Jr. Class officers.

Mrs. Gottlieb is accepting student applications for membership on Arapahoe’s School Accountability Committee. Application forms are available in the Activities/Attendance Office and are due back for consideration by 3:00 p.m. on September 1st.

Next week freshmen will be campaigning for Class Officers. Elections will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2, all day in the cafeteria.

Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity softball team for defeating George Washington yesterday afternoon. In a close game, the Warriors held on to win by a score of 4 to3. Great Job Warriors! Hey Students, come out and support your Lady Warriors on Saturday at DeKoevand Park as they take on Overland. Game times are 11 and 1.

Congratulations to the Varsity and JV golf teams who both finished in second place behind Cherry Creek at the Centennial League Tournament at South Suburban golf course. The varsity was led by Drew Brumley’s 74, Hunter Kessler’s 76 and Adam Jones’s 79. The JV was led by Pierce Maty’s 79, Kyle Zedaker’s 80, and Kyle Taylor’s 80. In other tournaments the Varsity has been led by Taylor Motsinger and Shane Houston.
Attention all Warriors, a reminder that all students not involved in a sport, an activity or a club, need to leave the campus by 3pm daily. Loitering will not be tolerated.
