General Announcements

CSAP Testing is fast approaching. Room Assignment lists are posted in the Cafeteria by the Security Office. Please make sure your name is on the list. If not, please stop by to see Mrs. Scoglio in the Attendance Office. Reminder 9th and 10th graders should arrive for testing on Monday, March 7, at 7:21am. Classes begin for all students at 11:34am. All 11th and 12th graders may not arrive before 11:15am. Schedules are posted throughout the building.

Are you interested in renewing a relationship with the Arapaho Indians in Wyoming? We’ll be taking a trip to the Wind River Reservation on Thursday, April 14th and Friday, April 15th. If interested, pick up an application in the Main Office at the front desk. It is due Friday, March 11th.

Students may bring their lunches to the forum today and listen to Ms. Leonard’s presentations on the PSEO and ACTS programs during both lunches.
Hello Warriors, Prom is just around the corner and that means it is time for this year’s prom nominations! ALL upperclassmen come to the cafeteria and vote for your 2011 prom royalty today.

Hey seniors! Come to the cafeteria today during lunch to input your ideas for graduation this year. We need ideas for motto, song, flower and color. Come help make this year count!

Attention all members of National Honor Society: We’ll have a short meeting right after school today in the forum, so please plan to be there by 2:25.


Athletics

There are only 16 teams remaining in the 5A state basketball tournament, and two of them, including your Arapahoe Warriors, are playing tonight right here at AHS. Come enjoy yourself and show your support for the boys as they take on Chaparral at 7:00 pm. The ticket office opens at 6pm so come early. Student admission is $6 and student passes are not valid for state tournament games. Adult tickets are $8. Go Warriors!

"This past Saturday at the Adams City HS Winter Guard Competition, our very own Arapahoe Color Guard finished 1st, on top of 27 other high school Color Guards! Our color guard remains the very best in Colorado and is excited for the upcoming Regional, State, and of course their debut at Nationals!
Come cheer on this prestigious team! Way to go Color Guard!"

Attention all you Warriors interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2011-2012 school year, tryouts are just around the corner. You and a parent must attend the informational meeting on Tuesday, March 8, in the AHS Theater at 6:00 p.m. Please see Mrs. Pramenko if you have any questions!

All Special Olympic basketball players and partners need to turn in their clean uniforms into S6 by Monday, March 7.
