General Announcements
CSAP Testing is fast approaching. Room Assignment lists are posted in the Cafeteria by the Security Office. Please make sure your name is on the list. If not, please stop by to see Mrs. Scoglio in the Attendance Office. Reminder: 9th and 10th graders should arrive for testing on Monday, March 7, at 7:15am. Regular classes begin for all students at 11:30am. Juniors and Seniors may not arrive before 11:15am. Schedules are posted throughout the building.
Attention all FCCLA Members- Please plan to attend a very important meeting Monday March 7th right after school in room E2. We will be discussing our safe driving campaign as well as year-end chapter activities. See you there FCCLA!
DECA had another successful competition this past week at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs! We had 15 students make it to the final round of competition and FIVE of them qualified to attend the National competition in Orlando in May. Way to go DECA!
Hey Student Council: Remember, during CSAP week we will have our meeting after school on Tuesday, March 8, at 2:30 in room C13. This is our last meeting before Warrior Week so please attend. See you there.
Art Attack is fast approaching. Entries can be turned in now, so don’t wait! The entry deadline is April 1.
Are you interested in renewing a relationship with the Arapaho Indians in Wyoming? We’ll be taking a trip to the Wind River Reservation on Thursday, April 14th and Friday, April 15th. If interested, pick up an application in the Main Office at the front desk. It is due Friday, March 11th.
Athletics
The Arapahoe boys basketball team will be competing in the “Great 8” State Tournament at the Denver Coliseum on Saturday, March 5, 2011. The Warriors will take on Abraham Lincoln High school with game time set for 2:45 pm. Admission prices are $8 for adults and $6 for K-12 Students and Senior Citizens. Go Warriors!
Attention all you Warriors interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2011-2012 school year, tryouts are just around the corner. You and a parent must attend the informational meeting on Tuesday, March 8, in the AHS Theater at 6:00 p.m. Please see Mrs. Pramenko if you have any questions!
All Special Olympic basketball players and partners need to turn in their clean uniforms into S6 by Monday, March 7.
