General Announcements
Don’t forget Warriors, Monday kicks of Warrior Week, so bring your spare change! This year we have chosen to represent the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association. Monday’s dress up day will be America-themed so wear your red, white, and blue! Monday night is also the CU Buffoons concert at 7:00 p.m. in the theater, tickets are $5. The CU Buffoons are an award winning all male acappella group, and they will be joined by your Arapahoe Singers, so be sure to come to this fun event! Tickets for all the events and Warrior Week t-shirts will be on sale in the cafeteria during both lunches!

Hey Sophomores and Juniors--Don't forget ALL Link Crew applications are due today on Mrs. Moritz's desk.

Color guard performance tomorrow evening is the annual Friends and Family show for the Arapahoe Winter Guard.  You are invited to come see some great performances by AHS and four other guards.  We will also be having a big send-off for the guard as they will be traveling to California and competing in the Fresno Western Championships at the end of next week.  It's free to attend and doors open at 7:30 p.m. at the West Event Entrance of AHS.  The show starts at 8:30 p.m.  We hope to see you all tomorrow night!!!

ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS!  Art Attack is Back!  The 11th Annual Art Attack is underway and the Art Department is now collecting pieces for the show.  If you are interested in entering please swing by the art office and pick up your entry forms.  We will be collecting art work now through Friday, April 3rd so don’t wait.  For more information or answers to any questions please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Mrs. Svigel, Ms. Davidson, or Ms. King.

Calling all Warriors! The Senior Class needs your help bringing in winter coats and children's books to take with us to the Wind River Reservation when we visit in early April.   We will be collecting the books and coats until April 5th.  Collection boxes are located in the Trophy hallway, Library, and East Entrance. Thanks for your help!

HEY SENIOR BOYS!!!  This April we will be hosting the first ever Mr. Arapahoe Competition. The Competition will include Formal Wear, Talent and an Interview.  Registration for this new, fun and exciting event has started. So if you think you have what it takes to be the first ever Mr. Arapahoe, pick up an application in the Activities Office.

Athletics

Congratulations to Freshman golfer Chloe Graham for hitting a hole in one in her first high school tournament. Great job, Chloe!

Congratulations to the Varsity girls’ soccer team for an exciting 2-0 win Wednesday over Bear Creek. Maddie Matthews scored two goals in the win. The girls play again tonight at 7:30 against Fort Collins and there is also a game tomorrow with game time determined by today's outcome. Check the Arapahoe Warriors Girls  Soccer website for tomorrow's game time.  The Warrior Girls are also collecting new socks at the tournament to donate to a local women's shelter.  Come cheer them on!

Big SHOUT OUT to Chase Douglas who had three goals in the AHS / Aspen varsity lacrosse game!  Speaking of boys lacrosse, hope to see you all TONIGHT at Englewood High School as AHS battles Regis at 7:00 p.m.  Fight on Warriors!

Warm weather means we’re back ON TRACK!  The JV Track and Field team hopes to run circles around the competition this afternoon at Grandview.  And your Centennial League Relay champion Varsity teams plan to keep the streak alive with a strong showing at the LPS Duals meet, right here at home on Saturday.  Come show your support for all our Track and Field Warriors – we’re nearly 200 strong!

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2015-16 season will be held March 30th - April 3rd.  A mandatory informational meeting for parent and interested cheers will be held Monday March 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the AHS Forum.  Anyone interested should plan to attend.

The 2015-16 Toms auditions have been postponed until further notice.  Please check the team's website for more information.
