General Announcements

Attention Warriors! Tomorrow is Veterans Day.  Please stop by the Military Heritage Board by the Security Office and see all our Arapahoe friends and relatives who have or are currently serving in our Armed Forces.  During WWII, nearly 3 million teenage boys and girls went to work for the US defense.  They deferred their educations to make victory possible, working long hours each day in dangerous places such as shipyards and airplane fuselage plants.  Please remember their contributions this Veterans Day.

Ho Ho Ho, Hello Warriors!! It’s that time of year again for the AHS Toys for Tots Drive. Santa is coming to bring a new toy for each boy and girl at Gilpin Montessori Public School and the Denver Indian Center and he needs your help! Join us by bringing a NEW toy to the Attendance Office to meet our goal of 1000 toys. Let’s make it a great holiday for the kids! We know Arapahoe can make it happen!

If you are interested in enjoying and getting involved in sports like you have never have in the past, join us this Thursday in the main gym to kick off the Unified Basketball/Cheers season. Unified is the true meaning of Warriors taking care on one another. Everyone is welcome.

Hey everybody, this weekend the Speech and Debate team competed at the Cherry Creek Classic. Everyone did an awesome job competing. Our team earned 4 Excellence awards and one Superior award. On top of those, a special shout goes out to Sanat Mehta for placing in the final round and Isabelle Boecker for acting as a presiding officer in Mock Congress. Be sure to congratulate these amazing competitors if you see them.

Attention all DECA Members! Don't forget to join us for our DECA Dinner team feed tonight from 5:30-7:30PM at Chick-Fil-A at Southglenn. It’s the last supper before our game day at Districts on Friday!
