Announcements
HO! HO! HO! We have collected about 160 toys for
our Toys for Tots drive and anticipate getting about 100 more with the money
raised during Miracle Minute! We truly appreciate all of your
contributions and so will the kids at Gilpin Montessori and the Denver Indian
Center. We still need lots more toys to reach our goal, so show us your
Warrior spirit and bring those toys in.
Hey Warriors! Staff Appreciation Day is
just around the corner! Make sure to give special thanks to your teachers this
week and all those who make Arapahoe the best school in Colorado.
Athletics
Your Lady Hoops Basketball team started off the
Season tonight with
a win against Legacy 59 – 43 in the "Tip Off Tournament." It was a
great team effort with great defense. Your top scorers were Jordyn Vega (14
points), Macy Ziegler (14 points) and Maddie Matthews (10 points). Leading
rebounders were Maddie Matthews, Alexa Miller & Kat Abt. Great start
to the Season! Thank you to the MOWB (Men of Women's Basketball) and the
fans who came to support! Next game is tomorrow night
at 7pm at
Arapahoe against Ralston Valley. Go Warriors!
Boys basketball won on the road at Ponderosa
last night 52-34. A great team victory. We
play at Mountain Vista tomorrow night
at 7:30. We need all the Arapahoe tribe to help us fill the
Eagles nest with Warriors! Show up. Cheer. Get rowdy!
