Announcements
Happy Flower Power Day, Warriors!
Today is the 2nd day of Warrior Week and we are just getting started. Don’t
forget to stop by the student council table at lunch to buy your Warrior Week
T-Shirts! Tomorrow is “Freak of Nature Day” so be
sure to wear your wackiest and tackiest clothes. Tomorrow night is the DECA
Basketball tournament and Silent Auction at 6pm. The silent auction will
have amazing items including a Fitbit, a Soybu outfit and a weekend stay in a
mountain cabin! Tickets are just $5. Come support your friends in the
tournament and afterwards grab dessert at Yogurtland! A portion of the proceeds
will go to The Joshua School.
Hey Senior boys!!!! The last day to
apply for Mr. Arapahoe is this Friday! Get your applications in to the activities
office before 2:30 to be considered for this exciting event.
Have you picked up a packet for FBLA Volleyball
tournament? Be sure to get your teams together soon so that you can
reserve your spot in the tournament. Hurry, spots are going fast!
Attention Warriors playing in the 3-on-3 Basketball
tournament. Team check-in will take place on tomorrow at 5:40 pm in the Study Center. We will also have
a short rules meeting at that time. All team members must attend.
The 12th Annual Art Attack is underway
and the art department is now collecting pieces for the
show. If you are interested in entering please swing by
the art office and pick up your entry forms. We will be
collecting art work now through Friday, April 1st so
don’t wait. For more information or answers to any questions please see
Mrs. Hawthorne, Mrs. Svigel, Ms. Davidson, or Ms. King.
Athletics
Come out and support your Girls Lacrosse
Teams as they travel to Chatfield today: Varsity plays at 4 and JV plays
at5:30! We hope to see you there!
Your Warrior Boys Swim and Dive team
travels to Grandview High this Thursday at 4:30 pm. They have been working hard and would love your
support. Go Warriors!
Are you interested
in Cheerleading next year? There will be an informational parent/athlete meeting
tonight at 6:30 pm in the Forum. Students must attend with a parent.
Tryout dates will be March 28th - 31st from 5:00-8:00pm in
the Wrestling Room with tryouts on Friday April 1st.
