General Announcements

Attention Key Club Members or Newcomers to KEY Club! The first meeting will be September 12st. See you then!

Calling all Freshmen!! If you are a passionate leader with a desire to make things happen, then you should check out student council. Stop by the forum at  2:30 PM today, for the “Intent to Run” meeting if you are interested in running for a class officer position.

Juniors!  Your PSAT10 results from the Spring have arrived.  Please come to the Guidance Department and pick up your paperwork.  

College visits begin this week! The majority of these visits will take place in the months of September and October.  Students can log in to Naviance to see a complete list and to sign up.  Some highlights for this week:  

today - Fort Lewis College

tomorrow - University of Alabama

Pick up a blue pass in the Post Grad Center and ask for permission to miss class time by having your teacher sign it in ADVANCE of visit day!

Attention all Muse members or anyone interested in joining the Muse, there will be a brief meeting after school  today in room E1283, hope to see you there!.

The homecoming talent show: Auditions are on September 8th from 2:40-6:40 in room number E1341. Pick up an application in the main office. The talent show is Monday September 26th so get your applications in and start practicing.

Attention all art club members, or anyone interested in joining art club, there will be a short meeting Thursday in room 1283 after school.

Athletics

Boys’ Soccer: Your Varsity Boys’ Soccer team lost a tough game yesterday to Ralston Valley, The JV squad won their game against Ralston Valley, 2-0.  This afternoon at 4:30, the Warrior Boys’ Freshman/Sophomore team hosts Thunder Ridge in their opener on the AHS JV field.

Attention Arapahoe Volleyball Fans! Tonight is our home opener! We play the Heritage Eagles tonight in the Sitting Eagle Gym! Sophomore game starts at 4, JV and Freshmen play at 5, with Varsity taking the court at 6.15. Come out and support the girls in black and gold! GO WARRIORS!!!

Attention interested Girls & Boys, Arapahoe - Swimmers and Divers. There will be a brief meeting in the Forum this Wednesday (August 31st) from 2:25-2:50 pm. If you are out for a fall sport, stop by but do not be late to your practice.
