Attention Key Club Members or Newcomers
to KEY Club! The
first meeting will be Thursday September 1st. See you then!
Are you good
at math, science, social studies or English? Do you enjoy competitions? There will be a Trivia Fight Today, Monday
August 29th at 3:00 pm. The contest will be hosted by the History
Bowl Club and is open to all Arapahoe students. No sign up is necessary;
just show up at The Bubble, 3 pm. If you
enjoyed Brain Bowl, Spelling Bee or Geography Bee in middle school this contest is for you! Please contact Mr. Hess for more details.
Calling all Freshmen!! If you are a passionate leader with
a desire to make things happen, then you should check out student council. Stop
by the forum at 6:45 AM or 2:30 PM on Tuesday August 30th, for the “Intent to Run” meeting if you are
interested in running for a class officer position.
Juniors!
Your PSAT10 results from the Spring have arrived. Please come to the
Guidance Department and pick up your paperwork.
College visits begin
this week! The majority of these visits will take place in the months of
September and October. Students can log in to Naviance to see a complete
list and to sign up. Take advantage of this opportunity to hear about
your schools of interest first hand. This week’s schedule:
Monday - University of Oklahoma and Indiana
University
Tuesday - Fort Lewis College
Wednesday - University of Alabama
Thursday - Grand Canyon University
Friday - University of Colorado at Denver
Pick up a blue pass in
the Post Grad Center and ask for permission to miss class time by having your
teacher sign it in ADVANCE of visit day!

Attention all Muse members or anyone interested in joining the Muse, there will
be a brief meeting after school on Tuesday in
room E1283, hope to see you there!.
Do you have a hidden talent you would love to share? You could be the
next Justin Bieber or Simone Bile. The homecoming talent show could be your
ticket to fame!! Auditions are on September 8th from 2:40-6:40 in
room number E1341. Pick up an application in the main office. The talent show
is Monday September 26th so get your applications in and start
practicing.
Athletics
Congrats to the Varsity softball
team for their big 10 to 1 win against Regis on Friday. The lady Warriors
are back in action against Ponderosa today and tomorrow against our rival
Heritage. Good Luck ladies!
Your Varsity Boys’ Soccer team plays
their first home game of the year at the Arapahoe High School soccer field
today at 4:30 against Ralston Valley High School – come cheer them on to a
great start this afternoon.
A Big At-A-Boy to the Arapahoe Golf
Team. They finished 2nd in the Horizon High School Invitational.
