General Announcements

State testing (CMAS, PSAT10 and SAT) for freshmen, sophomores and juniors starts next Tuesday, April 11th and goes through Thursday, April 13th. Students, please make sure you're aware of the modified bell schedule for those days. Bell schedules can be found on the AHS website and are also posted around the school. Also, testing room assignments will be posted in the cafeteria. Be sure you know in what room you're testing before Tuesday!

The weather outside is frightful, and for some it's not delightful,
but since your hearts are so warm, donate coats, donate coats, donate coats!

We are having a coat drive for the Wind River trip. Help out some kiddos in need of some warmth and bring in coats that are in good condition. Bring them to school and drop them in the donation boxes throughout the building! Every coat counts!

Coda Coffee is here!! This is a Colorado Company which has a great roasted coffee, the cafeteria offers a couple of flavors and has a variety of mix-ins. Skip the lines across the street!

Do you have too many off hours in your schedule for next year?  Do you want some work experience for your resume?  Do you like to help people?  If so - DECA Store applications are NOW available in the Business Office!

Students!  If you were absent and have not received your registration packet for next school year, please come to Counseling Department and see Mrs. Ives to pick up paper work.

Seniors, now is the time to use up any lunch money in your account or pay off a negative balance. Unsure what your balance is? Ask one of the Arapahoe Kitchen Staff.
If you still have money in your account by May 22nd, please have your parents contact the Nutrition Services Office.  The office can transfer the balance to a sibling or process a refund. You can also “pay it forward” and donate the money to a Lunch Shares Fund”

PROM GUEST FORMS will be available in the Attendance/Activities Office April 10-28.  Completed forms must be returned to the activities office no later than 3 pm on Friday, April 28. Please follow the detail Instructions on the forms, including all forms must be returned with a legible photocopy of your guest.

Working on filling out your schedule?  Are you interested in earning credit for working?  There will be an informational meeting on Monday after school in room E1287 if you would like to learn more about Arapahoe High School's Community Employment Experience class.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would still like information about the class, please come see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department.
