General Announcements

State testing (CMAS, PSAT10 and SAT) for freshmen, sophomores and juniors starts next Tuesday, April 11th and goes through Thursday, April 13th. Students, please make sure you're aware of the modified bell schedule for those days. Bell schedules can be found on the AHS website and are also posted around the school. Also, testing room assignments will be posted in the cafeteria. Be sure you know in what room you're testing before Tuesday!

The weather outside is frightful, and for some it's not delightful,
but since your hearts are so warm, donate coats, donate coats, donate coats!

We are having a coat drive for the Wind River trip. Help out some kiddos in need of some warmth and bring in coats that are in good condition. Bring them to school and drop them in the donation boxes throughout the building! Every coat counts!

Interested in taking A.P. Language or A.P. Literature but you're not sure which to take? Come to an informational meeting about the differences between A.P. Lang and A.P. Lit today at 2:30 in the Forum.

Coffee is coming!  Coda Coffee will be available to purchase in the cafeteria soon… Stay tuned for details.

Do you have too many off hours in your schedule for next year?  Do you want some work experience for your resume?  Do you like to help people?  If so - DECA Store applications are NOW available in the Business Office!

Students!  If you were absent and have not received your registration packet for next school year, please come to Counseling Department and see Mrs. Ives to pick up paper work.

Are you interested in starting your own business? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work for yourself?  If so, there is a presentation open to all students in the Forum today, during 4th and 5th periods.  Please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department for more details.

Seniors, now is the time to use up any lunch money in your account or pay off a negative balance. Unsure what your balance is? Ask one of the Arapahoe Kitchen Staff.
If you still have money in your account by May 22nd, please have your parents contact the Nutrition Services Office.  The office can transfer the balance to a sibling or process a refund. You can also “pay it forward” and donate the money to a Lunch Shares Fund”
