General Announcements 

Do you like rock and roll, or carefree teachers, because if you do then School of Rock is for you. Come see the Arapahoe Performing Arts Department perform School of Rock next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at seven. Tickets are only eight dollars for students and ten for adults, and don’t forget about the matinee at 2 o’clock on Saturday. Hope to see you all there! 

Are you interested in earning credit for working at your job? Come to the Business Department and talk to Mr. Sawyer to learn more about Arapahoe High School's Community Employment Experience class. 

Juniors and Seniors We need your help nominating outstanding students for this year's Prom Royalty Court? The students you nominate should be individuals who are leaders among their peers and those who demonstrate qualities of the Warrior spirit. Voting link is in your LPS email. 

Arapahoe Artists! The Art Attack awards reception will be next Tuesday, April 17th, from 7:00 - 8:00 pm, with awards given at 7:30 pm. All are welcome and encouraged to come and see the amazing artwork this year! 

Any students who applied to be a Link Crew Leader for the 2018-2019 school year. Be sure to check your student email today to see whether or not you were selected to serve as a link leader. The Leaders will also be posted in the Library hallway next week. 

JUNIORS, If you have been invited to be a Junior Attendant, please stop by Student Services to RSVP ASAP! 

SENIORS! Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent your class and audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time auditions will be held after school next Tuesday, April 17. Please sign up for your audition at Mrs. Fletcher's window today. For questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts. 

Seniors who missed last week's TRIBE, please complete the Senior Exit Survey in Naviance. If you need assistance, please go to the Post Grad Center! 

Congratulations to the Arapahoe Orchestra for a very successful performance at the CHSAA Large Group Music Festival yesterday!!! The orchestra earned EXCELLENT ratings from all three judges for their performance and a near perfect SUPERIOR rating during their sight-reading evaluation. Way to go! 

 Athletics 

The Varsity Girls Soccer Team is on a roll and they are loving their supportive fans!!! They won their game yesterday against Cherry Creek with a final score of 5-0. Goals were scored by Kiah Benham (2), Dani Babb (2) and Cam MacMillan. Please come out and cheer them on next Tuesday as they battle Smoky Hill at 7:30pm at the LPS Stadium. 

Attention boys soccer players who played Fresh/Soph or JV last year, there will be a quick meeting today in room E1284 at 2:30 pm. 

Your Varsity baseball team takes on arch rival Cherry Creek tomorrow (Saturday) at 3:00 pm at AHS. Come out and cheer them on!! 

Hey Warriors, the JV baseball team is scheduled to play Eaglecrest today, weather permitting. If Mother Nature cooperates, come cheer on your fellow Warriors with a cup of hot chocolate from the Snack Shack. They got a nail-biter 9-8 win Wednesday against Grandview - fabulous team effort. 

The varsity tennis team defeated Cherokee Trail yesterday 6-1. Julia Vartuli had an impressive 6-1, 6-0 victory at 3 singles also, JV Gold and Black beat Cherokee Trail by a score of 13-0. Congrats to the girls tennis team! 

The girls lacrosse team will be playing Eaglecrest at 4pm at Newton Middle School, then again on Saturday at 11am at the LPS Stadium where they will play for the Three Sisters Trophy against Heritage/Littleton. GO WARRIORS!
