General Announcements 

Current AP Students- If you plan to take an AP exam this year, it is mandatory that you attend a pre administration session. These will take place in the Forum, every period except 4th, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 17th and 18th. There will also be a session after school Tuesday. See the AHS AP website for more details. 

Prom Guest Approval forms are available in the Activities/Attendance office. Fully completed forms are due back to Mrs. Railey by 3 pm on Friday, April 27. Please note, you must include a photo ID of your guest with the form, no faxed forms will be accepted. 

Do you find yourself asking “huh what am I going to do this weekend?” Well wonder no more, come see the Performing Arts department put on School of Rock this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tickets can be bought online through the link on Mr. Ahern’s teacher page. They are only eight dollars for students and ten for adults, and don’t forget about the two o’clock on Saturday. Hope to see you all there! 

Congratulations to the Winter Percussion Ensemble for their second place finish on Saturday at the RMPA State Championships in Colorado Springs. The Ensemble finished with a score of 89.825 earning them a silver medal. 

Juniors and Seniors We need your help nominating outstanding students for this year's Prom Royalty Court? The students you nominate should be individuals who are leaders among their peers and those who demonstrate qualities of the Warrior spirit. Voting link is in your LPS email. 

Attention Arapahoe Artists! If you submitted work into the Art Attack this year, please join us for our awards ceremony tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 17th. The reception will be held in the theater hallway from 7-8:00, awards starting at 7:30pm. Come see if your piece was a winner! 

Warriors! Join us for the final Instrumental music concerts of the year on Saturday April 28th, then celebrate with us at our annual “No Problem” Benefit! Tickets available on the Arapahoe Band Boosters website! arapahoebandboosters.com 

Juniors who missed their post grad appointment this semester: walk in appointments are available everyday this week, except for Wednesday. 

Free Alive @ 25 class Tuesday April 24th at 2:30 pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Athletics 

We are the Champions! That's right, the JV Girls Tennis Team won the Heritage Tennis Invite this last Saturday. Not just one but seven doubles teams won it all. Congrats Ladies! 

The JV Lacrosse team celebrated a big win against Castleview on Saturday. They have a busy week with a home game against Chaparral today, a game at Kent on Thursday and then a game against Smoky Hill on Friday at Powell. 

Come out and watch the freshman baseball team play Mullen at home at 4:15 pm and enjoy a snack at the shack.
