General Announcements
*For the last few weeks the Thespians have been turning A Midsummer Night's Dream into a film! Please join them for a live stream of the production on November 6th and November 7th at 7:00 pm. *Are you struggling in class and need some more support? Join Mr. Miwa and some peer tutors after school for Homework Club. We will meet in room W2882 from 3:40-4:30 pm. Come and get some of your work completed. See you then!
*Check out the amazing talents of your fellow Warriors! The Arapahoe Art Department would like to invite you to view this year's virtual 2020 AHS Fall Art Show which includes over 330 works of art (link also found on the Arapahoe website)! We hope you enjoy the show!
*Juniors, this is the year to start building your college list. There are 14 colleges virtually visiting with Arapahoe students tomorrow and these visits are open to juniors and seniors. Please sign up in Naviance - the virtual meeting link will load in Naviance 15 minutes prior to the visit.
*Students interested in learning about Pickens Technical College, one of our state trade schools, be sure to attend the virtual visit tomorrow morning to learn about trade options available to you!
*Arapahoe is having our 2020 food drive! Donate to the food boxes now through November 13. You can find the boxes by the security kiosks and in the cafeteria. See the posters for more information!
*If you have checked out a daily laptop or Lenovo power cord from the Library, these need to be returned at the end of each school day! The items will be cleaned and the laptops recharged and available to check out the next day. Thank you so very much!
*Attention all students interested in taking the swim waiver test for an opportunity to test out of the required swimming course: visit the AHS website or click here for more information to sign up. The Swim waiver test will be given on November 18 after school and you must pre-register.
*Your clocks have been set back an hour but keep your reminders set each day to wear your masks, do your daily health self-screenings, practice social distancing, wash your hands often and remember to record your attendance on all virtual days.
