*All NHS members! We have our next meeting today, October 27 at 3:45 p.m. in the forum after school! It will last 15 to 20 minutes. We look forward to seeing you all! See one of the officers or sponsors if you have to miss.
*The AHS College Fair 2021 for Juniors and Seniors is this Thursday, October 28, from 6:00-7:00 p.m! Visit in-person with over 50 Colleges!
*Seniors! Do you have a November 15th college application deadline? The College Application Tracking Form is due this Friday, October 29th by 3:45 pm for all schools with a November 15th application deadline. See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Conn in Post Secondary if you have questions regarding the tracking form.
*Show off your Halloween spirit! This Friday, October 29th we will have a Halloween costume contest during both lunches. You’ll definitely want to participate as prizes will be awarded for most creative, most committed and most applause! Remember no violent or bloody-looking costumes and nothing with full face coverings.
*Make sure to stop by the Library to submit your guess for the haunted Halloween Candy Jar Count! You could be the winner of a bucket of candy and a 3-D printed slinky! Winners will be announced October 29.
*Support our AHS Band! Hungry for Butter Braids? ORDER THIS WEEK! Add some beauty to your home this holiday season with poinsettias, Christmas Cactus and Succulent Gardens! *Unified informational meeting will be held next week Wednesday, November 3 at 3:30 p.m. in room E1275. This is for anyone interested in participating with Unified Cheer or Basketball. We hope to see you there!
*Are you looking for something fun to do this winter/spring season? Come join the AHS Winter Guard! Participants learn the art of throwing and catching flags, rifles, and sabers, and put on an EPIC choreographed show. You will also meet people from Littleton and Heritage too! Come to our info meeting with a parent on November 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the band room.
Athletics
*Huge Shout Out to Our Field Hockey Warriors as they beat Palmer Ridge last night 2-1 in the pouring rain in double overtime for the state quarterfinals! They play Regis in the semi-finals this Thursday, October 28 at 5:30 p.m. at All-City Stadium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students for the state playoff game. Come out and cheer on our Warriors to victory!
*Our Boys Varsity Soccer Team advances into the playoffs with a game tonight against Chaparral at LPS Stadium at 7:00 p.m. Let’s pack the stands tonight! Please remember no passes will be accepted for admission to this game. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth starting at 6:20 p.m. by cash or check only.
*All girls wanting to play basketball this coming season plan to attend our Pre-Season Camp which begins today, 10/27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Gym and Friday at 3:45 p.m. Come and join the most successful Girls Basketball program in Littleton!!!
