General Announcements

*Did you lose a water bottle, coat, backpack or any personal item? Come by the lost and found table today or Friday located at the east end of the cafeteria and claim your lost items. 

*Sophomores and Juniors, Link Crew wants you to lead through activities, leadership class, and relationships. If you are interested in being a LINK Crew Leader for the 2022-2023 school year, complete an online application through our Google Site on the Arapahoe web page. Your completed application is due tomorrow. We look forward to working with you!

*There will be an FBLA meeting today after school in the forum. At the meeting, we will have a Jeopardy Competition, and we will have our First FBLA State Help Session for those who are attending the State Conference. Members can also receive information about becoming an FBLA officer next year. We look forward to seeing FBLA members there!

*Interested in University of Tampa, Washington State, or University of Redlands? Sign up in Naviance now to hear more about these fine institutions in the Post-Secondary Center tomorrow!

*If you want help preparing for the SAT/PSAT, don't forget to register for FREE practice tests at The Princeton Review by tomorrow at 9am! Get a personalized score report and access to all tests through July. See Ms. Conn in the Post-Secondary Center for more information. 

*Get ready for Warrior Week next week. All proceeds from our events will go to support our Make-a-Wish kid, Ashlee! Ashlee, our wish kid, loves pink, anything Disney and horses.  

• Student Council is selling t-shirts for $10 today through Monday during both lunches in the cafeteria and before school in the trophy hallway.

• Saturday come to the Parade at AHS staff lot at 12:00pm.

• Bring your families for an all AHS social as we work together to kick off our annual Warrior Week on Saturday. Head over to Varsity Inn anytime from 11 - 8:00pm. Varsity Inn will give 15% back to WW. Don't forget to bring cash for a 50/50 raffle too!

• Arapahoe Idol is Monday at 7:00pm. It’s our karaoke night and tickets will be sold at the door for $5.

• Please wear PINK to our Tuesday Tribe assembly for Ashlee and be ready for some fun class competitions and see a big surprise! 

• Your 2022 Swish for a Wish basketball game is coming up on Wednesday at 7:00pm.  Time to pack the gym Warriors! The seniors will face off against the staff. Admission is $5.00, and a half-court shot contest will go down at halftime, with the winner earning a Chick-Fil-A gift card! 

• There will be a badminton tournament April 6th and April 8th during both lunches.  This will be a 2 vs. 2 tourney and a small $5.00 fee is required. The sign-up is on the posters and the deadline is Monday, April 5th! Pizza is served at lunch too! 

*Support AHS instrumental music programs and get a clean car! Buy a coupon for a carwash from Waterway. $23 ($22 coupon plus $1 for shipping and handling) Good at any of the 5 Colorado locations. To purchase use the following link.

*Your Freshman Baseball team takes on Mountain Vista today at 4:30pm. Come on out to the field to cheer the boys on to another victory. Go Warriors! 

*Calling all interested cheerleaders! The 2022-2023 AHS Cheerleading Interest Meeting is tonight at 7pm in the tiered classroom (E1287). Come learn more information and ask your questions about the cheerleading program and what is to come next season. We look forward to seeing you there.

*Come support your ABK Girls Varsity, JV, and C teams as they return to action this week. 

• The Varsity team has showdowns with:

• Littleton Lions on Friday at 7pm

• Colorado Academy Mustangs on Saturday at 7pm

All varsity games will be held at the LPS stadium.

• The JV team will face off against

• Littleton Lions on Friday at 5:30pm at the Arapahoe Varsity grass field, 

• Aurora Central on Saturday at 7pm at the Arapahoe Turf Field.

• The C team will take on

• Legend High School JV squad on Friday at 5:30pm at the Arapahoe north grass field,

• Littleton Lions JV team on Saturday at 5:30pm at the Arapahoe Varsity grass field.

*The Arapahoe Girls Lacrosse Team is selling Butter Braid pastries.  These are delicious frozen pastries that are baked at your home. Order by April 8th, and pastries will be delivered after the 15th.

*Looking to get a job soon? Come to the Arapahoe High School Job Fair this Wednesday after school in the cafeteria. The fair will run until 4:30pm. 38 employers will be there looking to hire freshmen through seniors, and they will answer any questions you have about summer, part-time and full-time positions. Local employers such as South Suburban, Perfect Pools, and Chick Fil A will be there, along with many others. The job fair is for Arapahoe High School students only. Be sure to show up to this great event! Please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department office if you have any questions.

*Juniors, tonight’s the night! College & Career Night begins at 6pm with a mini-college fair in the cafeteria before the keynote address in the theater at 6:30pm. We have so much great information to share about planning for college, exploring your options, and what to expect this fall. Don’t miss it!

*The latest edition of The Herald magazine hits the news-stands today! We will distribute during 2nd period, get your copy in class or look for it in the cafeteria news-stands and in the library.
