*Attention all Seniors! Arapahoe High School's Business Department has an opportunity for you to earn a $1,000 Scholarship for taking Personal Finance class or CE Personal Finance class. Please see any teacher in the business department to learn how to apply.
*Attention All FBLA Members. There is an FBLA Meeting today after school in the form. Come ready to do a community service project and learn about our upcoming events such as the easter egg hunt.
*The 18th Annual Art Attack is underway, and the Art department is now taking pieces for this year's show. We will be collecting artwork through Friday, March 18th, so don't wait. Please swing by the Art office for information on how to submit your work. If you have any questions, please email or come in and see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. Davidson, or Ms. King.
*Free Alive @ 25 class is Tuesday, March 16th, from 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you voluntarily take the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 registration fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the course. Also, a lot of insurance companies will give you a discount. To register, visit www.aliveat25.us and use the password "arapahoe". If you have any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
Athletics
*Please join the Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team for a Foundation Game against Columbine High School at LPSS on Monday, March 7th at 7 pm! Tickets are $5, and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to BTR, an organization that supports teens suffering from mental health issues.
*Congrats to the Girls Varsity Basketball team on their Sweet Sixteen win against Columbine on Tuesday evening. They are headed to the state championship and will be playing in the Elite 8 game against Fossil Ridge! Come out and support them at the Denver Coliseum this Friday, March 4th, at 4pm. You can purchase tickets on the CHSAA website - chsaanow.com. Go Warriors!!
*Are you interested in trying out for the Arapahoe Cheerleading Team for the 2022-2023 season? Please visit the AHS cheerleading website to fill out the interest form and sign up for upcoming open gyms. Tryouts will run from April 11th to April 15th. There will be a parent and athlete interest meeting on March 31st at 7:00pm in the AHS tiered classroom to gain more insight into the program itself. We look forward to seeing you there!
