General Announcements

*Hey Warriors! There is no better way to kick off the school year than attending the Back to School Dance - THIS FRIDAY, August 19th from 8 pm - 10 pm in the west lot. Admission is $5 but Kona Ice will also be there so bring some extra money if you want a fun treat!

If you park in the West parking lot between the forum doors and the track, please make sure that you move your car by 4 pm on Friday so that we are able to set up for the dance.  We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday for a fun kick off to the 2022-2023 school year!

*Powder puff football is back!  Get a group of 10 girls from any grade together and start practicing for the games, which will be September 17th and September 21st during Homecoming week.  Please have 1 representative from each team stop by the Activities office to pick up a packet.  Only the first 12 teams registered along with the $100 fee can play, so get the registration turned in early.

*Warriors, do you know we have TWO ‘Lost and Founds’ at Arapahoe? If it is something valuable like phones, wallets, car keys and jewelry, come to the Attendance office. If it is water bottles, jackets or sweatshirts, check the front desk.

Athletics

*Our Field Hockey Warriors kicked off their season last night against Cherry Creek. Varsity battled hard but lost; however, JV defeated Creek 2-1 in an outstanding 4th quarter comeback! 

*Anyone interested in the 2022-2023 Boys and Girls Swim and Dive Team, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, August 23rd in the school Forum at 3:37 pm to find out more about our teams.  If you are out for a fall sport, please  stop by on your way to fall sports practices.
