General Announcements
*The 12th Annual LPS Poetry Slam is TONIGHT at 6:30pm at Options High School. Come and support the great works of high school students from across LPS.
*Seniors! Do you have a December 1st college application deadline? The College Application Tracking Form will be due on November 14th by 3:45pm for all schools with a December 1st application deadline. See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Conn in Post Secondary if you have questions regarding the tracking form.
*Congratulations to the nearly 250 juniors and seniors who earned their Varsity Letter for Academics. Students who were not able to attend the ceremony on November 7th should plan to pick up their lettering packet. If you are a senior who lettered last year and have maintained your GPA, be sure to pick up your 2022 Lamp of Knowledge pin. Packets and pins will be available from Mrs. Dunsmore in the principal’s office all week. Arapahoe is extremely proud to celebrate these outstanding scholars! Congratulations!
*Hey FBLA Warriors - there is an FBLA meeting this Thursday, November 10th after school in the forum. Remember that registration and checks for FBLA are due THIS THURSDAY. Take part in all of the fun, competition and friendship that you will experience being part of FBLA!
*Do you have an extra coat you're not using? Help keep others warm this winter by donating it to Sergeant Selby's Coat Drive here at Arapahoe this week! All sizes of gently-used and new coats may be brought to the collection boxes located at the east entrance, forum entrance, or the postsecondary center in room S1401.
*Are missing a water bottle, jacket, hoodie, lunch box? Check out the Lost & Found at the Front Desk to see if we have it. If you have lost a phone, wallet, airpods, keys, or jewelry, come to the Attendance office to see if we have your item.
Athletics
*Congratulations to the Toms on their first regional competition this past weekend! The Varsity Toms placed 1st in Hip Hop and 2nd in Game Day, while JV placed 2nd in Game Day and 4th in Pom. The Toms will compete again this coming Saturday morning at the National Western Complex.
*Anyone interested in being a part of the 2023 Arapahoe Warrior Track and Field team should attend an informational meeting TODAY at 3:40pm in room W-1529. We will be discussing the upcoming spring season and winter workouts. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family. If you are unable to attend please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of this week.
*Attention all Girls planning to play Basketball for AHS this winter - please plan to attend our pre-season Camp this week, November 7th - 12th after school. All workouts will be at AHS.
