*Warriors - HURRY UP and reserve your spot for the next Swim Waiver test for current AHS students that will be on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th during Tribe.  There are ONLY 3 spots left.  The sign up is available on the AHS website.  See Mrs. Abner if you have any questions.

Athletics

*Warriors - Congratulate your Girls Field Hockey team on a FABULOUS season.  They lost a hard fought game last night against Cherry Creek in the semifinals. What AMAZING Warriors!

*Warriors - join us for food and fun TONIGHT and support the AHS Baseball teams at Chick-fil-a at Streets of Southglenn from 5:00pm-8:00pm.  Place your order in the Chick-fil-a App and use the code word ‘WARRIORS’ or mention AHS Baseball when ordering in person.  20% of the proceeds will go to the program!

*ATTENTION - all girls interested in playing Warrior Basketball for AHS this season, it’s officially HOOP SEASON! Preseason Camp this week is from 5:45pm - 8:00pm in the main gym! Join the most successful basketball program in the city.  We have an AMAZING culture because of our AMAZING players.  Join us tonight and add your unique energy and athleticism to our team!

*Juniors & Seniors: don't forget: Financial Aid Night is TONIGHT at 6:00pm in the Forum! Come hear Admissions Reps from San Diego State & Northern Arizona share ways you might make college more affordable! Students, parents, and guardians are welcome.  Please enter through the North Forum doors.

*Warriors - the next Swim Waiver test options for current AHS students will take place on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, the 15th during Tribe.  You must sign up to reserve a spot.  The sign up for the test will be available on the AHS website starting TODAY.  Each test day will be limited to 20 students. See Mrs. Abner if you have any questions.

*The Latino Student Alliance and National Spanish Honor Society invite you to our Día de los Muertos celebration TODAY at 4:30pm in the Library.   Bring a photo of a loved one or write their name on a monarch butterfly to honor their memory.  Join us for a vibrant celebration of life, love, and remembrance. See you there!  

*Butter Braids for Band - Support the AHS instrumental music programs and enjoy some delicious butter braids.  Order online by TODAY, pick up will be November 9th, from 10:00am-1:00pm. 

*Juniors & Seniors: If you want to know more about financial aid & college scholarships, join us here in the Forum on Monday, November 4th, from 6:00pm-7:00pm for Financial Aid Night. Students & families are invited to attend.  Please enter through the North Forum doors.

*Seniors: if you have a college application due TODAY, please make sure those colleges are in the APPLIED column in Scoir! Your applications may not be complete without those documents, so don't hesitate!

*Warriors - Come to FBLA's Annual Shred-A-Thon TOMORROW from 9:00am-12 noon! Protect yourself and others from identity theft.  Please provide a donation for shredding services.  FBLA members who want to earn lettering points, sign up for a shift and help us out!

Athletics

*CONGRATULATIONS to our Warrior Field Hockey team for their win in OVERTIME last night against Denver East.  On to the FINAL FOUR! 

*Get ready to cheer on your Warrior Football team TONIGHT as they take on Eaglecrest @ 7:00pm at Legacy Stadium.

*Good Luck to our Warrior Cross Country runners at Varsity State Championships TOMORROW at the Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs!

*Attention any and all AHS girl athletes!  As fall sports begin to wind down, we are inviting you all to join the Girls Basketball program this winter! Go to ahsgirlsbb.com to see up coming open gyms and shooting workouts! We have an amazing culture led by our amazing players. Join us and add your athletic ability and energy to our program.
