General Announcements
*Hey Warriors - This is Deputy Hills, SRO here at AHS. This is my first year at Arapahoe and I’ve loved getting to know you and our community. I’m here to talk a little bit about what Veterans Day and what this week means to me. I served in the United States Marine Corps from 2001 to 2009. I was deployed in 2003 and again in 2006 to Iraq. I was also a civilian with the Department of Defense as a contractor for the Marines. In my time in the military, I came to value other cultures around the world and learned what it meant to represent the flag! Joining the military was an important milestone in my life and led me to police work where I could make a positive impact on our community back home on a large scale. I encourage anyone interested in joining the military or first responding service to come chat with me anytime. Thank you Warriors.
*All Unified - Join us this Wednesday, November 13th for our Unified Social Event at Pizzability from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
*Attention Warriors - Sergeant Swartz will be in the cafeteria during both lunches TODAY to talk with interested students about what it's like to join the US Navy
*Do you want to represent AHS? Get ready to serve up some competition in the Arapahoe/Heritage Crosstown Pickleball Tournament on Friday, November 22nd! Tryouts and practice for the Warrior team will be TOMORROW, November 13th at 8:15am and next Wednesday, November 20th at 8:15am in the AHS Aux Gym.
*Unified Warriors - we will be having a Unified meeting Thursday, November 14 during Tribe in the Main gym. See you there!
Athletics
*Attention Warrior Athletes - there will be a Track and Field meeting after school this Thursday, November 14th at 3:45pm in room E1287. We will be discussing our upcoming season and winter workouts. See Coach Wadsworth with any questions.
