 General Announcements

*Yee Ha Warriors!  Great western wear! Tomorrow - it’s college day.  Where will you be attending college next year, want to go when you graduate or your favorite college team - show us your college swag! 


*Juniors and Seniors - Prom tickets will be on sale all week during both lunches in the cafeteria.  $40 per person - cash or check.  If you are planning on bringing a guest - a GUEST Form must be filled out and turned in by Thursday, May 1st @ 3:00pm.  


*Also, Juniors and Seniors - AfterProm is this Saturday - buy your tickets at lunch for $30 this week.  $40 at the door.  There are over $5,000 worth of prizes given out at the end of the night! You do not have to go to Prom to come to AfterProm.  Open to Juniors, Seniors and their guests. A GUEST Form must be filled out and turned in by Thursday, May 1st @ 3:00pm.  


*Seniors! Please complete the Senior Exit Survey as soon as you know your plan for next year. Submissions received by May 2nd will be included in The Herald, and those received by May 10th will be included in the Awards Convo. You must complete the survey before picking up your cap & gown for graduation. See your counselor for questions.

*Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Toms Members! If you missed the chance to tryout for the upcoming year, JV Toms will be hosting informal tryouts, Tuesday, May 6th from 4:15pm-7:00pm.  Contact the Toms Coaches for more information!

 General Announcements *Congratulations to our new Mr. Arapahoe - Dugan Doyle!  Thanks to all our Mr. Arapahoe contestants who were awarded the following:

Jack Ballard - Most Humourous

Jackson Beeman - Best Cheer and Spirit

Joey Boris - Best Lip Sync

Dugan Doyle - Best Talent

Manny Medina-Nevarez - Best Interview

Liam Natale - Best First Impression

Dugan Doyle also won Mr. Congeniality voted upon by the other contestants.  Thank you to the Sophomore Student Council for putting this event together alongside the members of the AHS Tech & thespian team!

*Come join us TONIGHT for Arapahoe Boys Varsity Lacrosse SENIOR NIGHT In what will be one of the biggest matchups of the season as the team takes on East High School! Come celebrate our Varsity Seniors and pack the stands. Varsity Face off is @ 7:00pm at Littleton Stadium.  JV Face off is at 4:30pm Powell MS.  


*Good luck TODAY to our Girls Golf teams at a League Tournament at Saddlerock Golf course.  


*Good luck to our Boys Varsity Baseball team as they take on the Smoky Hill Bison at 4:15pm at Smoky Hill High School.  The Freshman team will play at HOME against Cherokee Trail at 4:30pm.  


*Also, get a great meal & support the AHS Baseball teams at Arbys’s, ALL Day long at 12245 Lioness Way in Parker.  A percentage of the proceeds will go to our great baseball program.


*Come cheer on your Girls Varsity Lacrosse team TONIGHT at Centennial Stadium at 7:00pm as they take on Cherokee Trail.  JV will play at 5:30pm.


*Attention all students interested in playing volleyball next fall!  There will be a Parent/Player Interest Meeting for the Arapahoe Volleyball Program TONIGHT at 4:00pm in the Forum.  During the meeting, coaches will share information about the culture of the program, summer opportunities, and what to expect for fall tryouts.  If you are interested in joining the volleyball program next year or would like to learn more, we encourage you and your parent or guardian to attend.  We hope to see you there!

*Drum roll please! Who will be our next Mr. Arapahoe? Get ready to cheer on your pick for Mr. Arapahoe TONIGHT at 7:00pm in the theater.  Tickets are $5.

*Celebrate Prom's "Night in New York" by dressing up for some spirit days all next week! We start on Monday with Colorado Day. You can wear Colorado jerseys, hiking gear, or whatever screams Colorado to you. We are excited to celebrate Prom Week with our whole student body!

*Come support the Boys Lacrosse Program Fundraiser with a FREE Car Wash this Saturday April 26th, 10am-2pm.  Come wash away the winter storm grime at Christian Brothers Auto-Centennial, 8201 S. Holly Street. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Boys Lacrosse Program. Donations encouraged! Each car will receive a free oil change coupon to use at a later date (a $100 value)

 General Announcements

*The reception for our 21st Annual Art Attack will take place on TONIGHT from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the theater hallway. Awards will be presented to our category winners at 6:30pm. If you plan to attend please enter through the east bubble entrance. We look forward to seeing you there!


*Join our AHS Thespians for their International Thespian Festival Fundraiser TONIGHT at 7:00pm in the theater.   Come support our thespians as they raise money  to attend the International Thespian Festival in June. Performances will include material selected at the festival and material they developed in the past.  Donations to support the students can be made directly via Venmo to our AHS Thespian Booster treasurer.


*Attention all National Honor Society members for the 2025-26 school year: Check your email today for a link to participate in the election of officers for next school year. The ballot closes today at 5:00pm.


*The Warrior Women Exploring STEM Club is meeting TOMORROW at 7:40am in room W1874.  Join us as we have 2 guest speakers to learn about a day in the life of a woman engineer and enjoy some breakfast muffins!

*Good luck to our Girls Golf teams TODAY at Centennial League Tournament at Aurora Hills Golf Course.  Varsity starts at 11:00am.  JV will play at 2:00pm at the LInks Golf Course.

*Good Luck to our Girls Tennis Teams TODAY.  Varsity will play at 3:30pm against Ralston Valley.  JV Black will play Heritage and JV Gold will play Regis.  


*Congratulations to your Boys Swim team who finished up their dual meet season with a very close loss to Smoky Hill last night.  The boys end the dual meet season at 4-4, which is a 3 win improvement over last season.  The boys are next in action on Saturday at the Centennial B League Championships. Congratulations boys and good luck this championship season!
