General Announcements
*Warriors - Join the AHS Thespians for our ‘Wednesdays in April’ performances! Tonight our 7th-period CE Acting class presents ‘This Murder Was Staged, a murder, mystery comedy. Show time is at 7:00pm in the theater and tickets are $5.
*Also, the AHS Thespians have a record number of AHS students that qualified for Nationals at Indiana University in June. They’ll be having a Fundraiser on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00pm in the theater. Join our students for performances that will include material selected for Nationals as well as other material they select. See our attached QR code to make a direct donation to help these students compete at this national event.
*Warriors - get ready for the Annual AHS Job Fair on Thursday, April 10th after school until 4:30pm in the cafeteria. Remember to dress for success and be ready to interview! Local businesses will be looking to hire students 14 yrs and older for full time, part time and paid apprenticeships.
*Warriors, we would love your support for our AHS English 12 Capstone project ‘A Blanket of Hope’. Donate any fleece blankets or unused toys. All toys and blankets will be going to Children's Hospital Colorado. You can donate by dropping off new stuffed animals or fleece blankets in the cardboard boxes around the school. Also, we are hosting a blanket/toy drive on Friday, April 11th between 1-3pm, at the bubble. Thanks for your support!
Athletics
*Come cheer on your Girls Varsity Tennis team as they take on the Grandview Wolves at Grandview HS TODAY at 3:45pm. JV and JV Black will play at 3:45 at Holly Tennis Courts.
*Come fire up your Boys Varsity Baseball team as they take on the Cherokee Trail Cougars at 4:15pm at Cherokee Trail HS. Sophomore team will play at HOME @ 4:15pm.
*Good luck to the Girls Golf teams TODAY at Meadow Hills Golf Course.
*Good luck to our LPS Boys Volleyball team TONIGHT against Valor at Valor HS. Varsity plays at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:30pm following the C team at 4:15pm.
*Come pack the stands as the Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse team looks for their 6th win of the season in what will be an epic showdown against Cherry Creek TOMORROW, April 9th @ HOME! Varsity Faceoff will be @ 7:00pm at Littleton Stadium. JV Faceoff will be at 4:30pm at Powell Middle School.
