General Announcements
*Warriors - Join the AHS Thespians for their ‘Wednesdays in April’ performances! TOMORROW night, our 8th period CE class presents ‘Buried’ and ‘Where Words Once Were’ - for mature audiences only. Show time is at 7:00pm in the theater and tickets are $5. ‘Buried’ is a modernized Edgar Allen Poe story and includes PG-13 elements. ‘Where Words Once Were’ by Finegan Kruckemeyer is about a futuristic society where the government limits the words its citizens are able to speak.
*The Annual AHS Art Attack is upon us. Check out the AMAZING artwork throughout the school done by our own talented Warrior artists.
*Join our AHS Pickleball Club for their first ‘Serve It Forward’ Pickleball Tournament and food drive on Friday, April 18th from 7:00-9:00pm in the main gym. Come have fun and support our community with non-perishable food items that will be collected ALL DAY. A food donation is required for tournament entry. See you there!
*Seniors! Please complete the Senior Exit Survey as soon as you know your plan for next year. Submissions received by May 2nd will be included in The Herald, and those received by May 10th will be included in the Awards Convocation ceremony. You must complete the survey before picking up your cap & gown for graduation on May 16th. See Ms. Conn or your counselor for questions.
*Warriors - the Arapahoe Herald staff is working on their next issue and we need pictures of your best ‘Promposal’ signs. Send in your pictures with you or your friend’s ‘Promposal’ signs from the past.

*Good luck to our Warrior Girls Tennis teams TONIGHT! Help us celebrate our AMAZING Seniors before the match!
*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Golf team in the Centennial League Tournament at Meadow Hills Golf Course TODAY!
*Come cheer on our LPS Boys Volleyball team as they take on Cherry Creek at Heritage HS. Varsity starts at 6:30, after JV plays at 5:30pm. C team plays at 4:15pm.
*Help fire up our Girls Varsity Soccer team TONIGHT against the Smoky Hill Buffalos at Smoky Hill HS at 5:00pm. JV plays at 4:30 at Smoky Hill.
*Hey, batter, batter SaWINGgggg! Come cheer on your Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY as they take on the Mullen Mustangs at Mullen HS @ 4:15pm. Sophomore team will play @ HOME at 4:30pm.
*Come to the Interest Meeting for the Cheerleading team this Wednesday the 16th at 5:30pm in the Forum! If you are interested in trying out for cheer at Arapahoe please make sure to attend this meeting with your parents. Following the Interest Meeting we will have our official tryouts April 22-24! Looking forward to cheering with you soon!
