*Hello Arapahoe Artists - Get ready to unleash your creativity! The Art Club is starting up again TODAY. Come on down to Room E1283 and join us from 3:35 - 4:30 pm, as we dive into a year of creating, collaborating, and expressing ourselves through art. See Mrs. Hawthorne if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
*Attention all AHS girls: It is time to put your teams together for the Annual Homecoming Powder Puff Football game. Captains of each team, stop by Mrs. Peterson’s desk in the Activities Office to pick up the rules and waivers for your team. We can only take the first 12 teams that register, so hurry up and get your team of 6-10 players together to compete for the title of Powder Puff Champion.
*Warriors - have you always wanted to ride a gondola through the canals of Venice or enjoy fresh delicious Italian Gelato on the streets of Florence? Please join Ms. Wood and other AHS student travelers on our trip to Italy next summer. If you are interested, you must RSVP for our information night for families on Wednesday, September 3rd at 6:30pm in the Forum. Please RSVP even if you can’t come to the meeting! See posters and flyers around the school for the QR code to RSVP and ask Ms. Wood if you have any questions.
*Warriors - ID reprints are available if you have not taken an ID picture yet or need your ID reprinted with an Athletic Pass. Please visit Mr. Ngo next to the bookkeeper in the main office. This is not for picture retakes, which will be done in a couple of weeks.
Athletics
*Attention - Boys Soccer players & parents. There will be a player/parent meeting TONIGHT starting at 6:00pm in the Forum. We will be discussing schedules, expectations and communications. Please enter through the Forum doors on the north side of the building.
*Warriors - the TOMS are holding a final audition to be a part of the 2025-2026 Arapahoe Dance team. Get excited to show off your dance skills this Saturday, August 23rd at 9:00am in the cardio room. You can sign up today by using a link on the TOMS Instagram page or the TOMS homepage. See you there!
*Attention any and all Freshman and Sophomore girls that played basketball in middle school and are interested in playing for Arapahoe this coming season! The Girls basketball program is beginning its preseason workouts this week. Our first Open Gym is TONIGHT from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We would love to have you join our AWESOME program!!! *Are you ready for some football?? Come out and support your Warrior Boys Football team TOMORROW as they scrimmage the Ralston Valley Mustangs at Ralston Valley.
*Come out and cheer on your Girls Field Hockey teams TOMORROW against Cheyenne Mountain @ HOME at Centennial Stadium. Varsity starts at 6:45pm after JV 5:30pm.
