 General Announcements

*The AHS Mountain Bike team had a great race in Steamboat this weekend and for one of our Warrior freshman Cooper McDonagh who won 1st place out of 71 Freshman boys at the Colorado High School Mountain bike race. Congratulations to Cooper and the entire AHS Mountain Bike Team. We would love new riders to join. See Mr. Lewis in counseling if you want to be part of the team! No riding experience necessary! 


*Warriors- if you signed up to join LSA and BSA during Club Cafe, our clubs will meet TODAY in the Zen Den (located inside the Counseling Office) from 3:30pm-4:15pm. We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Rivera.


*Come out and cheer on our Unified kickball team at HOME on our baseball field TOMORROW @ 4:00pm.  Come play with us to unify with Unified! 


*Warriors - If you love public speaking or debating hot topics, check out the Speech and Debate Club team. We are hosting an informational meeting on Thursday, September 11th right after school in room C1436. Hope to see you there! 


*Hey Class of 2026: TODAY the Postsecondary Center is hosting Kansas and the University of Northern Colorado, TOMORROW SDSU. Sign up in Scoir!  Our first Application Boot Camp starts TOMORROW in the AHS Forum at 8:15, during PLC.  Bring your laptop and your questions!


*Warriors--Lunch Bunch is having its first meeting TOMORROW during 1st lunch! This club is a place for anyone who wants to meet new people while sharing lunch together. Look for our reserved table in the cafeteria. See you there!


*Warrior Girls! The Warrior Women Exploring STEM club is having our first meeting this Friday, September 12th  before school at 7:40am in room W1882. Come learn more about the club, have a snack, make a bracelet, and make new friends!


*Attention Wild Warrior Women! Homecoming is right around the corner, and we need your help in getting the school ready for a fun week of school spirit!  Please sign up to make decorations during Ms. Davidson's TRIBE this week and sign up in Google Classroom to SHOW UP this FRIDAY after school to decorate the school!  AHS needs your school spirit to make this year's Homecoming the best one yet!  


*Do you need something to wear to the Homecoming Pep Assembly? Calling all Freshmen to come next Tuesday, September 16th to the Homecoming T-Shirt decorating party immediately after school in the cafeteria. T-shirts will be available for purchase during lunch or after school. These shirts will be used for the pep assembly before homecoming as well. Be sure to bring your friends! See you there! 


*Calling all Warriors! Key Club is open to EVERYONE and is having its first meeting on Monday, September 15th  in the Forum right after school.  Some snacks will be provided as we discuss upcoming community service and lettering opportunities! See you then. 


*Hey Arapahoe - we want you & your friends OR your teammates to be a part of the 2025 Homecoming Parade on Saturday, September 20th. Our theme is “Saturday Night Fever”!  The parade starts promptly at 10:00am and takes about an hour.  Sign up using the QR code on flyers throughout the school or see Mrs. Romero in the library.


Athletics

*Get ready to cheer on our Girls Volleyball teams at HOME TODAY  against Rock Canyon.  Varsity plays at 6:30pm after JV at 5:00pm.  Sophomore team plays at 4:30pm followed by Freshman at 5:30pm.


*Good luck to our Boys Golf teams TODAY as they play against Overland and Mullen at Aurora Hills Golf course!


*Good luck to our Girls Flag Football teams TODAY as they take on Thunder Ridge at Thunder Ridge High School.  Varsity will play at 5:30pm following the JV team at 3:30pm.


*Good luck to our Boys Tennis teams TODAY as they take on the Mullen Mustangs.  Varsity plays at 3:45pm at Pinehurst Country Club.  JV will play here at HOME on the AHS courts at 3:45pm.


*Good luck to our Boys Soccer teams TODAY as they take on Adams City at Adams City High School. Varsity will play at 6:00pm after JV plays at 4:00pm
