General Announcements

HO! HO! HO!  Did you know, we are half way to our goal of 1,000 toys!  Way to go Warriors!  We truly appreciate all of your contributions and so will the kids at Fletcher Elem.  However, we are still in need of about 500 more toys.  Come on Warriors, show us your spirit and bring those toys in!

Attention Students - The library will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Students will not be able to use the library before school or during the school day. Please return books that are due on the 7th to the book drop in the hall or renew those materials prior to the 7th. We will reopen on Thursday, Dec. 8th.

Once again we have a ton of lost and found items.  Please check the table in the cafeteria for your items, even if you don’t think you lost anything.  All items not claimed will be donated.

Hey Habitat for Humanity members, we have a build date for Friday, December 23--please sign up outside of room C-13 or see Mr. Kleeman before the end of school today.

Hey Arapahoe!  Have you ever wanted to turn $1 into a lot of money?  Well, all this week at lunch you can guess how much money is in the jar for just $1 and possibly win a lot!  The winner will be announced Friday, so guess now!

Hey CSJC members!  Community Service Just ‘Cause has a meeting this Thursday in room C-19.  But also, we have to buy gifts this Wednesday for the family we adopted.  Anyone that is interested in shopping for these presents, meet by the west entrance right after school on Wednesday.

The holiday season is here again.  Come help FBLA celebrate today, in S1 from 6-8 pm.  We will wrap gifts for our adopted family and write letters to the troops.  Pizza, movies and fun so join us and spread the holiday spread.

Good morning all writers and artists!  The end of this week is the absolute final deadline for submissions to the Muse.  Get your poems, stories and artwork, completed, and submit them online by going to Activities, & Muse on the Arapahoe Home page.  That’s right, after this Friday the 9th we will no longer be accepting submissions for the 2005-2006 Issue, so send them in!   Also, Muse members, we will have an important meeting this Wednesday the 7th after school in C-17.  It’s very important for everyone to be there to help us figure out our end-of semester ideas.

Congratulations to Luke Vogel, the winner of an iPod Nano for participating in the DU survey!

ATTENTION FBLA members, this is important!  Due to the predicted weather for this evening the FBLA holiday party will be held IMMEDIATELY after school today.  See you in S1 for food, fun and movies at 2:20.

Athletics

The freshman lost their first game last night to Grandview.  The warriors were led by Jed Knaflec with 11 points and Kyle Newman with 10.  The freshman practice will be at 2:30 today in the main gym
