HO! HO! HO! We are so close to our goal of 1,000 toys! Way to go Warriors! We truly appreciate all of your contributions and so will the kids at Fletcher Elementary. You may still bring toys to the Attendance Office next week. The Wrapping Party will be held Monday, Dec. 12 right after school in the cafeteria. Please come help wrap and get the toys ready for delivery. You can also help deliver the toys. We will be going to Fletcher Elementary on Friday, December 16. We will leave right after final exams, about 12:15 p.m. If you would like to go, please sign up and get a permission slip in the Attendance Office.
Once again we have a ton of lost and found items. Please check the table in the cafeteria for your items, even if you don’t think you lost anything. All items not claimed will be donated.
Juniors who plan on participating in Division I or II NCAA Collegiate Sports must see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Center regarding the ACT State Assessment voucher before January 11, 2006.
FBLA members. Pick up and pay for your awesome T-SHIRTS at our Monday meeting. We’ll finish up writing our letters to the troops.
Come join the Arapahoe Small Ensembles at the Larimer Square Winterfest tomorrow from 11am until 1pm. They will be performing Holiday music throughout Larimer Square. Also, be sure to catch the Arapahoe Singers who will perform there from 1 until 2pm. Hope to see you downtown tomorrow!
A Final Message regarding the Supreme Court visit this week. We thought that the seniors and juniors who attended the hearings should know about some of the reactions we have received about the day. The justices have said that the questions asked of them, both at the hearings and at lunch, were the most impressive series of questions they have had from high school students. Their depth and sophistication was indeed impressive.
We want to thank the students who attended for their behavior and their willingness to learn about the cases so that the conversations were so good.
Also thanks to the faculty and staff for the adjustments they made in their schedules and room assignments and for the help with moving students and all of the other little things that needed to be done. It was a great day for Arapahoe.
