There is a lot to update for the Special Olympics basketball team, we now have two games under our belts and we have won both. The Warriors defeated the Thunder Ridge team 78-26 in the season opener and defeated rival Littleton 61-44. The Warriors excelled at ball handling and defensive dominance. Keeping the ball out of their oppositions’ hands enabled the offense to show off their power and score at will. Good job in making all your hard work pay off. All players made strides in achieving for the team. The fan support was wonderful; they are awesome in keeping the team charging on all sides of the game. If you haven’t made it out yet come see what you have been missing. As a reminder there will NOT be practice on Sat. 1/20/07. The next game is a rivalry game at Heritage on Wed. 1/24/07 at 7 p.m. Please make plans to come over and support us versus our main rival.
