Congratulations to the Lady Water Warriors Swim and Dive team for their win over Regis Thursday night with a Junior Varsity score of 108 to 200. Arapahoe won the varsity meet as well by the score of 172 to 143. Highlights included the Arapahoe divers who took first through fourth place and had two state qualifiers, freshmen Beth Ambrozic and Dani Howe. Outstanding swims for the Warriors include Carliann Brashier in the 500 freestyle, Kelly O'Brien and Paige Newell in the 100 backstroke, Lindsey Mast in the 100 breaststroke, Carolyn Pasque as an anchor in the 400 free relay, and Lauren Moehlenpah in the 50 free as well as Amy Lindgren in the 100 backstroke. Additional event winners in JV were Alison Busse, Erin O'Brien, Anna Blakney, and Kenna Mullins.

Last Wednesday night the Special Olympics basketball team dominated rival Heritage. The final score was 77-52. The game was a spectacle of offenses, with both teams running the ball in an exciting fast paced game. We had our largest fan support of the season at this crucial away game. Thanks to all who attend. You help by supporting our team, home and away. The high scoring affair was capped off by several outstanding team performances and shots made by Chris LaCrue, Duke Rodgers, Justin Simmons, Andrew Carlson and Mercedes Acosta. Our Warriors also excelled at spreading the ball around and a smothering defense. Our next game is tonight at home at 7pm against Transition. Everyone is invited to show up and support our Warriors to their next victory.
