General Announcements

The Princeton Review is offering a free practice ACT exam for area high school students at Koelbel Library on Saturday, February 3. Reservations are required and seating is limited. Call 1-800-2REVIEW or stop by the Post Grad Center for information.

Attention TSA members, it is time to “get serious” about TSA. The State conference registration deadline is coming up sooner than you think. Our next meeting will be Monday, January 29th at 2:25pm in room E10. If you have not paid your $15 TSA dues, Monday will be your last chance to get it turned in and be eligible to attend the State conference in April. This meeting is a Mandatory meeting for all TSA members planning on attending the State conference. Please see Mr. McMullen this week if you cannot attend Monday’s meeting.

Seniors: Are you a budding entrepreneur? Do you own a small business? There is a scholarship for YOU! The 2007 NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award scholarship application is due February 12. Applications are available in the Scholarship List on Naviance or in the Post Grad Center.

Attention all Amnesty members! There will be an important meeting today after school in N3 to discuss our upcoming Silent Auction Event. If you are not able to attend the meeting but still want to come to the auction, talk to Sarah Axelrath or Becca Schwab for more exciting details.

Hey Freshmen officers…don’t forget we have a meeting tomorrow morning at 7 am in S8 to discuss fundraising. See you there!!

Just a reminder for all NHS members: This Wednesday there will be an informational service meeting at 2:15 in the forum. Please attend so that you can receive your new log.

Hey Arapahoe!! Key Club is sponsoring a supplies drive for our US troops. Please help us by bringing in items they have requested like new or old DVD’s, or even candy! The drive will continue until February 2nd, so please bring in all you can! There are boxes to place your donations in, in department offices and many classrooms. Please support Key Club and help your troops overseas.

Athletics

Attention all girls interested in playing tennis this spring: There will be a mandatory tennis parent/athlete meeting this Thursday night at 6:30 pm in the Forum. All girls planning on trying out for varsity or junior varsity tennis must attend. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Brayton in the science office as soon as possible.

Attention Arapahoe girl swimmers: Please note - the meet with Mullen has been moved back one half hour. The meet now begins at 6 PM. Check your meet lineup on the pool foyer windows.

ATTENTION ALL JV AND SOPHOMORE GIRLS BASKETBALL -
The bus will leave today at 3:45. Meet in the study center. Again, that’s at 3:45, in the study center.


Student Initiated Groups-

Congratulations to the following talented mathematicians! The following students will compete in the Final Round of the University of Northern Colorado Mathematics Competition on Saturday, February 3rd at the UNC Campus in Greeley. Please recognize Lane Childers, Laine Greaves-Smith, Tom Roberts, Ryan Beckett, Spencer Zepelin, Sean Egan, Corey McClymonds and Emil Marinov.

Attention, Young Republicans! We will have a meeting today, Tuesday, in room C-26 after school. Please bring information for Wednesday’s debate! See you there!

The Young Democrats and Young Republicans will have a debate on illegal immigration on Wednesday, January 24th in room E-9 at 2:15pm.
