Attention NHS members. We need 10 volunteers to work parent/ teacher conferences next Thursday night, March 5th from 4 to 8 p.m. Please sign up at Mrs. Lee's desk in the English department.
Hello Arapahoe! Our school has a special relationship with the Arapaho tribe in Riverton, Wyoming, and our sister school is the Wyoming Indian High School located on that reservation. They are currently in need of coats, so Student Council is sponsoring a coat drive which will run through March 5th. Please bring in new or gently used coats to the collection bins which will be in department offices and the main office. Thank you, Warriors! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
Please check the Lost and Found table located in the cafeteria for any clothing you may have misplaced, and stop by the Attendance office for any lost valuables.
Athletics
The Special Olympic Basketball Team would like to thank AHS students and facility for a wonderful season and for all your support this year. See you next year.
Come watch your 7th ranked girls basketball team compete in the 2nd round of the State Tournament tonight, February 27th at 7:00 pm here at Arapahoe.
Congratulations to the Varsity boys’ basketball team for finishing second in their first year in the Centennial League!!!! They enter the playoffs this Saturday at Arapahoe. Tip off will be at 3 pm!!! Come and support your Warriors by attending the game and wearing black t-shirts--we want to black out the student section!!!
There will be a drawing for prizes at half time as well as three point shooting for prizes!!! Don't miss the fun on Saturday!!! Ticket prices for both games will be $6 for adults with all K-12 students and Senior Citizen prices set at $5. No SBA cards will be accepted. Go Warriors!
Hey spirited Warriors! It’s that time of year again. . . Tryouts for the 2009-2010 Arapahoe High School JV and Varsity Cheerleading Teams!! Clinics will be held March 17th and 18th with tryouts on March 20th. There will be a Mandatory informational meeting for parents/athletes next Wednesday, March 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the AHS Forum. You and a parent must attend, and you MUST have a current physical on file with the Athletic Office if you want to try out. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Pramenko in the main office!
