General Announcements

Hey FBLA members, we have our District Conference this Friday. There is a mandatory meeting today after school in room S5. If you can’t make it you must see Mrs. Swank before then to attend. Good Luck at District Competitions!

Hey Arapahoe! Do you like cookies? Well, you can help the Sophomore class fundraise for prom by ordering cookies for you or a friend in the cafeteria beginning today through Thursday, February 12. These cookies will be delivered to classes on February 13th. Buy a Valentine’s Day cookie for a friend to show them that you care.

On Sunday, February 8th the Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs will be performing with international jazz trombonist, Dan Barrett. Also performing will be the UCD Claimjumpers. This concert will take place at the Westminster Elks Lodge, at the February Youth Jam Session, sponsored by the Denver Jazz Club. Tickets are just $7.00, and can be purchased at the band office, or from any Dixie Dawg musician. All ticket proceeds will benefit the band’s upcoming trip to perform at the Annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee.

Feeling artsy? We need creative and talented artists to help design the artwork for the 2009 Prom tickets. Think Venetian Affair! That means Italian and elegant. All submissions are due to Mrs. Crookham or Mrs. Kruck in the Math Office by Friday, February 13th. The design must be in black ink and the winner will receive either a Prom ticket or $30! The artwork will be featured on the Prom tickets and programs. All students are welcome to enter. Good luck and get drawing!
