ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS!!! Please pick up your artwork from Art Attack this week!
Attention Students and Staff, the AHS Kitchen will only be open Monday, May 17, and Tuesday, May 18, during finals week due to budget cuts.
Students who were unable to pick up their yearbook may get them during lunch in the cafeteria today and tomorrow.
Attention NHS members: Don’t forget our last meeting of the year is this Wednesday, May 12th, after school in the forum. It’s an important meeting when we’ll have elections for next year’s officers and turn in our service logs, so please be sure you’re there.
Hey all you FCCLA-ers, plan to meet after school on Thursday in room E2 for our year-end celebration. Bring your yearbooks, pictures to scrapbook, and an appetite. We will be making root-beer floats, working on our chapter scrapbook, and signing yearbooks. See you there FCCLA!
Athletics
Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team for taking first place in their Regional Tournament edging out Cherry Creek and Heritage. Katy Dyachkova was second overall with a 78, while Sarah Moore was 6th with an 83. Also qualifying for state were Becky Gutknecht and Claudia Davis.
Warriors! Come out to LPS Stadium at 5:30 tonight. Your State Championship winning Boys’ Lacrosse team stands up to defend their title tonight 5:30 against Ponderosa. Be there.
Attention golfers: All boys interested in trying out for the golf team in August should attend a brief meeting at 2:22 p.m. on Wednesday in room S8. If you cannot attend, give your name to Coach Anderson or Mrs. Weems in the Athletic office.
Interested in running Cross Country this fall or pre-season with Summer Running Club? Please attend a mandatory informational meeting on Thursday, May 13 during either first or second lunch on the baseball bleachers next to the track. Please see Coach Seidel or Lutz if you are unable to attend.
Attention all Girls’ JV Soccer players: There will be a mandatory uniform check - in today at 2:30 in room C-7. You must have everything there!
