General Announcements
It’s almost here. The week you’ve all been waiting for – no, not winter break – FINAL EXAMS! Finals run from December 14th through December 17th with 3 exams each day. Cafeteria service will only be open until 11:30a.m. each day. All buses will run on a regular schedule. Check with your teachers and on flyers around the school to confirm your specific testing times. Prepare & always do your best! GOOD LUCK, WARRIORS!!!
Students, please be aware that during the four days of finals the library will be a QUIET STUDY AREA only. If you do need to have group discussions for an assignment please do it in the cafeteria. Thanks for your cooperation & Happy Holidays.
Hey Juniors and Seniors, the After Prom Committee would like to hear from you! This is your chance to share ideas you think would make After Prom the very best ever! Please write down your ideas and suggestions and put them in the box in the guidance center. We will take suggestions until Winter Break.
On Wednesday, January 5th, the following clubs will have their yearbook photo taken: Photography Club, Drama Club, Drama Advisory Board, FCCLA, Special Needs Soccer, Wild Warrior Women, Chess Club, Warriors of the Word, Ultimate Frisbee, and French Club. The PSAT test results are back! If you took the PSAT, please come and pick up your results in the Guidance Office.
Athletics
Congratulations to the boys basketball JV and varsity teams for impressive wins over Rangeview Thursday night. The student support was excellent! Come watch some hoops on Saturday at the AHS gym as the sophomore and JV teams play at 12:30 and the varsity tips off at 2:00, all against the George Washington Patriots from the Denver Prep League.
Come support your Varsity Basketball Lady Warriors at Arapahoe as they defend our home turf against Green Mountain, Saturday at 6:30 pm.
The Freshman Girls Basketball Team plays Cherry Creek at 4:30 tonight in their first home game. Please come cheer them on.
The Sophomore Girls basketball team will play at HOME tonight at 4:30PM against Cherry Creek High School and again at AHS on Saturday, Dec. 11th against Green Mountain High School at 4:30PM. Please come out and support our girls!
JV Basketball Lady Warriors host a home game against rival Heritage Monday, December 13 at 7pm. Come and cheer our Ladies on to another home victory!
